This is my wildflower bed next to the lodge. I counted over 20 red admiral butterflies 🦋 there a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing they've been blown away today.

This young stag is the one that eats my lupins! And plenty of other flowers too 💐

We now have two Lodges, each with a private hot tub, on a golf course near Flamborough on the East Coast of Yorkshire. The postcode is YO15 1DW

Short breaks from £600, full weeks from £800-£1500 including use of the hot tub (less if you don't want the hot tub)

Each lodge has two bedrooms, and one has an additional sofabed. Each have two bathrooms and an open plan living/dining/kitchen with washer and dishwasher. Patio doors lead outside to an enclosed deck with lovely views of the countryside. Deer are seen regularly, and I've even spotted Albert the Albatross from here.

The Lodges are next door but one to each other at the far end of the park, so incredibly peaceful, and perfect for two families to share.

The Lodges are next door to Sewerby Hall (see photos for more info) and The Ship pub and golf clubhouse are both an easy walk from and serve good food with spectacular sea views.

The diaries are now open for 2023 and we have all dates available.

I also have a two bedroom seaview chalet and a ground floor studio apartment in the centre of Bridlington, all dog friendly.

The young deer have grown so much! Mum seems to have adopted another youngster in addition to her twins.
So lovely to see them, they came right up to the lodge.

Next stage of the landscaping of Albatross Lodge.
Now the hot tub is installed (and tested 😉) we can carry on with the plans for the garden.

Coming back to the lodge last night I saw my first ever wild (live) badger.

Then today, I saw Albert Ross, our black backed Albatross who has spent the summer at Bempton, just a few miles away as the crow/Ross flies.
He was just a speck in the distance, but by his flight and the height he was, I am totally convinced it was him.
You might have guessed these photos aren't mine, but the sightings are real.
Of course the deer and squirrels have visited several times too.

I'm so happy.
