POLAR EXPEDITIONS…❄️
Whether you opt for southern Antarctica or the northern Arctic Circle, if the icy poles are on your life-agenda, there are two really important questions to ask - HOW do I book and WHO do I use?
As experiential travel specialists, it might not be a surprise that we are also polar specialists, having ourselves experienced both ends of our blue planet. We recognise and understand the geographical and operational differences first hand, and also work with a number of partners that vary in its product offering, considerably.
✨So here are our tips on booking your next Polar adventure:✨
➡️ Things you’ll need to decide before you book!
🛳️ The Who… choose your vessel wisely. Choosing the right yacht is so crucial to your enjoyment and immersion of experience! They not only vary in size and capacity, but also routing and itinerary flex too!
📆 The When… do you want to travel (because the when will impact what you see and do!)
🧭 The What… are you going to see or do on your expedition? Polar bears or penguin colonies? Ice plunge perhaps? A heli flight or a skiing opportunity? Consider the expertise on board too. The guest-to-staff ratio. How will you maximise your learning? Maybe there is a specialist leader… a wildlife photographer perhaps, an ice diver, geologist or an Astronaut even!
👥 The How… big! The passenger size varies hugely and is really important to consider when booking. Options from a Private Charter to over 1000 passengers. Find that sweet spot for you!
🗺️ The Why..? My favourite question to ask is why do you want to go? Why is it on your life agenda? Why now? If we can understand the why, we will be able to support you on the WHO, WHAT & HOW!
