A little about my journey to celebrant work.

I have been attending ritual and ceremony since my early 20’s, my journey of ceremony began when I signed up to Shamanic Consciousness Course. On the course I met two wonderful ladies who attended a druid grove, and invited me along, I went and never looked back. Once you step foot on a path like this all sorts unfolds in front of you. I had been experiencing mediumship since i was a child, I loved fantasy books too, witchcraft, horoscopes etc and i had finally found a place where all of this was accepted and more! I have explored different relating Pagan paths such as wicca, witchcraft, I joined Children of Artemis in 2005, and Sacred Witch, attended Moots, camps and gatherings of all kinds, and learned different ways from each experience. There is so much to the subject of nature spirituality, it is lifetimes of learning and experiencing, that is what life is, right!?

I became a doula in 2016, and since then a feeling of helping parents to honour pregnancy and birth in a way i had done with my own, on a deeper lever , connecting to the forces of nature to deepen parents experiences has grown. I feel a need for it, and my clients seem to as well. Humanity in the west is missing spiritual support within our maternity services, aspects of birth that until recently were of upmost importance to help families through the experience in a positive way, empowering supporting and aiding women’s trust in her body’s natural normal abilities to give birth through trusting in the power of nature.

My doula experience also lead me to becoming a celebrant of other ceremonies such as handfastings, and baby namings, after friends asked me to create theirs. I have also been training deeper as a shamanic practitioner, which has opened many pathways for me within ritual and ceremony, as well as doing an OBOD Celebrant training in life ceremonies.

It seems only natural to draw on my experiences and offer ceremony and ritual to enrich others lives.
