The Cook's Cottage in Kent is only 30 seconds to the dog-friendly beach.⁠ It's perfect for trotting along the waterline, barking at waves and rummaging for washed-up treasure.

Meet Barney, a Paws & Stay inspector 🐾

He visited The Forge with his human for a thorough sniff around. After many zooms and grass rolls, the enclosed garden got a solid five stars (four paws) and the wood burner was rewarded a special mention for creating a prime cosy napping spot.

When heading out for a walk, Barney was spoilt for choice -- countryside walks from the door and the coast only a short drive away.

Safe to say, The Forge passed the inspection with flying colours.

Ours are 1 and 5 😂

Peggy had the best time at The Batman's Summerhouse in Devon (even if she did have a love/hate relationship with the doggy wash station 🛀). The trip was filled with riverside walks, goblin wiggles and sofa cuddles.
