Inspiring the next generation of balloonists today with a little tether for Sunshine Preschools, Bristol. We’re not sure who enjoyed the balloon more - the 3 and 4 year olds or all the staff!

Big thank you also to Cameron Balloons for providing lots of colouring in sheets for the children to do this afternoon. They even made their own hot air balloons from party balloons, ribbon, and cardboard tubes!

We’ll be adding this to one of the gifts available to our lovely landowners as a thank you for letting us be on their land, but you can also purchase a bottle from us after your flight! They are in a 35cl bottle and will be £22.

Each year our balloons need to get fully inspected by an aircraft engineer. Much like an MOT for your car, each component of the balloon will get checked to ensure that everything is ok for us to continue flying it.

We’re pleased to say that everything here passed fully!

Due to the council now wanting to charge us excessive and disproportionately unfair fees to launch from Royal Victoria Park in Bath, this unfortunately means that our General Group Flights will no longer be able to take place from here.

We’re a small independent business and cannot afford these fees that are simply unjust.

For those that are already booked on a flight scheduled from here then we will be in touch directly.
We will endeavour to find somewhere that we can launch from close to this site, but until then all our Bath flights will be from Newton St Loe.

You’re not the only ones that want this rain to stop so we can go back to views like this 😔

As you can imagine it’s horrifically wet out there and all the fields are just saturated, meaning we can’t land anywhere safely at the moment. We also don’t want to upset our lovely landowners either.

Trust us, when the time is right we will be making the most of it. Thanks for bearing with us! 😊

Mark your calendars… The iconic Bristol International Balloon Fiesta takes flight August 9-11, bringing our much-loved Bristol tradition to Ashton Court once again!

Run mainly by volunteers as a not-for-profit, the event has faced some financial challenges in recent years, but we’re making changes that will help the event soar to new heights and protect its future.

📅 The main event will be shortened to three days, running Friday – Sunday

💡 Don’t worry, we’ll still be including two spectacular Night Glows, this year on Friday and Saturday

🎈 We're focussing on a programme that will bring the magic of ballooning to visitors beyond the awe-inspiring mass ascents and Night Glows

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Before the main event, get ready for “Fiesta Week” from 5-8 August, when balloons will visit local communities across the city

We can’t wait to celebrate our city's long history with the incredible world of hot air ballooning!
