It is with a sad heart but a positive outlook that I have decided to close my little jewellery business Love Nettie down. My creative practice is leading further and further towards community arts and I am also focusing on my own work so I am taking the brave step to let go. Love Nettie has been at the bottom of my creative priority list for some time now and it's time now to move on.
Thank you to all who have supported, encouraged, inspired me and bought from me over the years. I have many fond memories and feel blessed to have had the opportunity to support my little family with my makes.
I am in the process of sorting stock out for a huge sell up which I will share to this page at some point, as well as many many supplies if any budding jewellers are out there who may be interested- do get in touch.

Super excited for this! At the last minute I have booked a pitch for a one day only blow out sale! This Saturday's Make and Take session is a little shorter than normal to make way for a party 10-12. yes that's right we cater for parties too! Book now for our introductory price of just £5 per hour for the party plus the cost of the activity per person. There's a whole host of things to make and do. Get in touch for details. Then Make It social is for you!
Each session, artist and maker Lynette Evans, will demo a creative idea of things to make at home and provide materials and advice to give it a go yourself in a relaxed social environment. Projects will vary from wearable, decorative and useful items, with an emphasis on easily available, affordable or upcycled materials. Suitable for all abilities.
The first Make It social takes place on Tues 26th Jan, 7.45-9pm, The kingfisher cafe, straits parade, fishponds.
Introductory fee of £12.50, includes demo, materials and a cup of tea/coffee!

I'd like to invite you to my new page, In the new year I'm planning a shift in my creative career direction, the finer points are yet to be worked out, but as a brief idea I am planning to pursue my own art practice further and push forward into community arts, namely the encouragement of creative practice as a form of social engagement. That sounds complicated doesn't it?! Basically I'm planning to set up local workshops and social crafting groups and will also be available for demos, parties etc. More details to follow.
