🎄 Christmas at Universal Studios 🎅🏻

Have you ever wondered what Orlando is like over Christmas? 🎄

Earlier this week we were guests of Universal; taking in the magic and awe-inspiring visuals at the famous Macy's Holiday Parade and the Cine-sational waterside light show 🎆

The atmosphere throughout the park as the anticipation builds is genuinely special - this is something that most people will experience once-in-a-lifetime, and it shows. The excitement of thousands of kids (and adults!) took on a life of its own as the first teases of light and sound started to echo down the packed boulevard took on a life of its own.

We saw the jaws of children hit the floor in unison as their favourite characters walked right in front of them! This is an experience they won't forget in a hurry 😄

In between shows - there's plenty of time to hit the rollercoasters, immerse yourself in the park's differently-themed lands (Harry Potter World was #1 - a must-see!!) or fill your boots with a virtually limitless supply of food and drink 🥤

It's a total cliché, but for good reason - it's less about what you do, and much more about how this place makes you feel! 🥰 And the magic of Christmas, combined with the magic of Universal Studios, is a feeling that doesn't come very often 🎄

🎃 Missing the Halloween fun already?

If you've not had your fill of thrills, visiting some of the world's most haunted places might just give you what you're seeking.

Demand for experiences and trips to haunted places is increasing year on year, and there's no shortage of chill-inducing locations to choose from. If haunted halls and wild woods are your idea of adventure - read on. Here are our top picks for getting some trick and treat!

1️⃣The Forbidden Palace, Bejing 🇨🇳
The former Imperial Palace of China that's seen more than its fair share of murders, it's no surprise that there have been many reports of strange phenomena since the palace opened to the public in the 1940s. The most common story involves a woman dressed in white (most good ghost stories start this way) trying to outrun a pursuing soldier.

2️⃣ Chateau de Brissac 🇫🇷
This 7-story castle is one of the tallest in France, and has its own tall tale to boot. Originally home to various members of European nobility, this castle is now a B&B. Keep an eye out in the early hours for the ghost of the green lady - the illegitimate daughter of King Charles VII; murdered here after being found to have an affair.

3️⃣ Hoia-Baciu Forest, Romania 🇷🇴
Called the "Bermuda Triangle of forests", this place is not for the faint of heart. The forest bears its name after a local shepherd, who, along with his flock of 200 sheep, vanished without a trace in its depths. Those who pass through alive have reported experiencing rashes, nausea and - quite predictably - anxiety.

Ancient Ram Inn, Gloucestershire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
One of the most haunted inns in the country, according to the experts (is that a real job?) at Haunted Britain. Dating back to 1145, this property was a priest's residence before being turned into a pub & an inn. The number of reports of paranormal activity here are surely too many to be wrong....

🇦🇺 G’day from Down Under!!🦘

Last weekend we waved Emma and Charlie off on their incredible adventure across the world, and it’s absolutely made our day to get these fab pictures from their trip so far! 🌴

They’ve broken up the long journey with a quick stopover in Kuala Lumpur, with a gorgeous tropical pool and 34C heat!! 🥵 And today they’ve landed in Sydney to start the Aussie leg of their journey 😃❤️
