On April 29th 2017 Sophie, Oscar and Sassy will be setting off to walk the 1200 (ish) miles from from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in the North of Scotland. We've chosen to support YoungMinds by raising money and talking about mental wellbeing as we walk. Every penny we raise will go towards empowering and supporting young people, raising awareness and ultimately changing lives. Growing
up is really tough, you have more responsibilities, decisions and commitments to make. Add to that school stress, bullying, social media, sexual pressure, no jobs and the fact that you only get one shot at all of it! No wonder it's all a bit overwhelming and quite frankly, bloody scary. However, most of us wouldn't want people to know that we're struggling. It may be a bad day or it could be an ongoing mental health problem that you need support with, but most importantly whatever it may be, no one has to try and cope on their own. YoungMinds is the UK's leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Driven by their experience, YoungMinds creates change so that children and young people can cope with life's adversities, find help when needed and succeed in life.
