Christmas lights switch on at 4.30pm. On Saturday Santa is due to arrive on the Quay at around 5pm before heading for his grotto to see children. After this will be the spectacular fireworks display directly in front of the quay. The festival itself will commence with a carol singing event from 6.30pm.
