Project Showcase - Rope Access for High Level Glass Replacements
Working for our client Workman LLP, we asked our friends at Define Creative joined us for a day filming a particularly tricky glass replacement in central London.
Due to the glass location on the 6th floor, we required the use of our rope access technicians alongside lifting equipment supplied by Ainscough Crane Hire and GGR Group. It was also an opportunity for us to debut our new Never Let Go Space Nets ensuring an extra control measure was in place.
A full road closure was organised with Nationwide Traffic Solutions Ltd to isolate the road and works area.
Works were safely completed on time and budget with the support of our supply chain partners showing the benefits of collaborative working and rope access.

After their epic charity Tuk Tuk challenge to raise funds for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) organised by Travelteer, Jon and Ross have now returned to work and 1000+ emails each!
As part of the challenge, the team joined a number of other
charitable organisations including Rosie May Foundation Buckinghamshire Mind, Rainbow Children's Hospital and many more,
All involved traveled over 400km across Sri Lanka over a variety of difficult terrains including sprawling cities with never ending rush hours, steep mountain roads with unforgiving hairpin bends , jungle rainforest with incredibly fast moving leeches and beautiful beaches.
The journey across the Sri Lanka countryside involved days of
glorious sunshine and monsoon rains making every day different. Driving along the roads had the extra hazards of other drivers and an abundance of wildlife including elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles and mischievous monkeys!
With numerous breakdowns along the way, the support Mechanic was kept busy keeping the vehicles on the move and find locations that still had fuel due to country wide shortages.
Whilst away, Sri Lanka was going through a period of political
turmoil which resulted in numerous protests and Nationwide curfews throughout offering an unexpected challenge along the way. Even with the economic and political problems the people of Sri Lanka were extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing can take away the diversity and beauty of the country.
With the journey complete, Jon and Ross had an opportunity to reflect on their travels and the beauty of Sri Lanka.
EACH are our chosen charity for 2022 and we are still looking to
raise funds for their vital work. Please donate on our Justgiving page below to help them continue

With less than a month to go Jon Wilson and Ross braved the cold conditions this week to complete their familiarisation training operating the Tuk Tuks.
Travelling around the hilly countryside, they gained plenty of experience under the guidance of Travelteer - the organisers of the event.
We have still got a long way to go to reach our annual fundraising target - any donations would be greatly appreciated. Link below!
