Whilst you’re down in Pendine Park Dean has some great facilities available .

To access the facilities you have to purchase a pass from the reception located to the left of the park .

The Show Bar offers entertainment for everyone in the family . Our family favourites are Starland Krazy and bingo . They have entertainment available every night . Check out the daily boards in the arcade.

They also hold morning entertainment for little ones with Milkshake Morning.

The site has a small indoor swimming pool fantastic for kids 🏊

There is also a small arcade area located in the show bar . Make sure you say hello to Sue ❤️

There are 2 play parks onsite . One is located by the show bar and the second by reception .

Ask the reception what’s going on when you’re down as they also hold events for people on park during special occasions.

This Saturday we HAVE TO talk about LOTUS.

Lotus is an award winning Chinese restaurant located on the beach front of Pendine . The food is AMAZING ! We highly recommend taking a visit . They do not deliver but if you go down you are more than welcome to buy a beer while you wait for a takeaway.

This Weekend we are going to look at the fantastic new council run facilities next to the beach . The new beach front location opened in 2023 making way for new local business and attractions.

The Caban is a welcoming cafe/ restaurant serving local hot meals and snacks (also alcoholic beverages🍺🍾) . They have seating inside and out and are also dog friendly . The service is fantastic as is the food . Check them out

Each Saturday I’m going to post about all the local attractions, restaurants, walks and other local activities in the area.

This week I’m going to showcase Pendine Beach 🏝️.

The beach is 7 miles of golden sands (the MOD takes over some areas of the beach during weekdays) and is dog friendly all year round🐶. The beach is extremely tidal, making it a fantastic place for rock pooling (to the right) or a long relaxing walk.

During the summer months the RNLI lifeguards patrol sections of the beach making it kid friendly. The water is not deep within the shallows, making it easy for your dog to play ball in the water.

There are public toilets and a range of local amenities making it perfect for a relaxed day out on the beach. 🏝️🏝️
