Heron Lodge is situated within 120 beautifully landscaped acres of Glan Gwna Holiday Park, Caeathro, Caernarfon. There are 3 good sized bedrooms, a well fitted kitchen, tastefully decorated lounge, and bathroom. Limited Wifi is free. The wooden lodge itself is set towards the rear of the quiet park and has a decked area that overlooks a quiet cul de sac. The lodge has the benefit of gas central heating whilst most of the other facilities are electric, and it’s easy to top up the meter during your stay.
You’ll have the lodge to yourself and will only share it with those you’re travelling with.
On entering Heron Lodge, you will enter the lounge, which leads into the well fitted kitchen. You will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a further bedroom with bunk beds and a sofa bed. The modern bathroom has a walk in shower for your convenience.
The many benefits include TVs, microwave oven, electric oven and stylish hob, walk in shower, travel cot and high chair, large decking area, outside table and chairs, and a barbecue. The decking is surrounded by a small wooden fence.
Glan Gwna offer free wifi in all parts of the Holiday Park, but downloading or streaming are not available and it is best to download prior to your stay with us. We have our own mifi that is available for guests to use free of charge. Please remember though that the 4G signal can be affected by the surrounding mountains and any adverse weather conditions.
Within Glan Gwna Holiday Park, as well as woodland, stream and river, there is an outdoor heated pool available in the school summer holidays, children’s play area, bar, restaurant (with a takeaway option), small shop, coarse fishing lake (rod licence and daily permits needed), and a laundrette with coin operated washers and dryers. Most facilities are only available between May and September - contact us for more details.
Ideally situated on the Welsh coast, you will be able to access a range of outdoor pursuits, visit local towns, villages, beaches, historic sites including castles, and family attractions.
Prices vary from £70 to £90 per night, with a one off £25 cleaning fee. Discounts are available for

Non refundable optional discount (10%) The cleaning fee and all of the nights are non-refundable at any point, starting from 48 hours after the initial booking. If you pay the full price, you may cancel up to 5 days before you are due to arrive and we will give you a full refund.

Additional rules
You will need to bring all equipment for infants, including bedding for the travel cot. Blinds do have cords attached. There is no door or barrier between the lounge and kitchen. Please remove outdoor shoes at the door. Please bring your own equipment for your dogs and throws for the furniture if they are likely to jump up. There is parking for 1 car at the lodge. Other cars can be parked in the car park by the reception building. Please respect the parking areas of the other properties. If you are asked to leave the Holiday Park because of anti-social behaviour, please do not ask us for a refund of your payment. There is an electric meter, which requires prepayment by a card which may be purchased from the onsite shop or reception area or nearby Texaco petrol station. We hope that guests will comply with a fair usage system by ensuring that there is some credit on the meter for the next guests who arrive.
