We have received a new FOUR STAR RATING from the Scottish Tourist Board!!!🏆⭐️ This is in recognition of all the improvements we have made in the past 2 years with the latest upgrade being the installation of a brand new heating system in our shower block.🔥 We’re delighted that the investments we are making in the John O’ Groats Campsite “visitor experience” is recognised in this way! 🤩

King Charles Coronation Commemoration Event on Monday 8th May from 7pm starting at John O’Groats Signpost.
In keeping with tradition of marking Coronations with a beacon lighting in John O’Groats that dates back to the Victorian times of the 1800’s, we will carry this forward on Monday 8th still using the same torch that was used back in the 1800’s.
The duties will be preformed by Nellie Manson accompanied by her daughter, Postmistress and torch custodian Fiona.
We will also have some entertainment provided by some of the best young local musicians and Highland dancers from our community.
The event is free and everyone is welcome, so come along and join in as Coronations don’t happen often in Great Britain!!
