Hello everyone 👋 if you were due to travel with us this weekend you'll have now received an e-mail with your rebooking/refund options. If you don't see it in your inbox please check your junk/spam folder.

This has by far been the most difficult and challenging weekend since I started Mynt Travel, I've always said that it'd be my worst nightmare to miss a Lapland or Polar Express and this weekend I've had to do both 😢 BUT every single customer has been absolutely wonderful and so patient and understanding, and for that, I can't thank you all enough.

I'd also like to say a massive thank you to Lee, Hannah, Holly, Steve, Mark, Gary, and the teams at Creigiau, Centurion & Coracle who worked tirelessly this weekend to try and get everyone back on track. It wasn't meant to be in the end but your efforts were amazing (as always!) 🧡

I'll now start to catch up on the general & sales queries we've received over the last few days but please bear with me, and am still very much looking forward to the coming week and all the trips we have to look forward to! 🤩

💨 WEATHER UPDATE 💨

First and foremost - thank you so, so much to all of our customers affected by the weather today. You've all been so lovely, patient and understanding I can't thank you enough!

We've made the difficult decision to cancel most of today's trips.

The overnight Polar Express is currently delayed pending a decision by the railway on whether or not they'll be able to operate in the morning. We're desperate to not let the kids down hence the decision right now to delay rather than cancel, but we will only operate this afternoon if it's safe to do so.

Everyone has been updated and we'll continue to stay in touch with you throughout this morning.

Our phone line is currently not working very well - it seems to be connecting calls but the signal is all over the place making it difficult to hear each other, we'd therefore recommend that if you need to contact us today you do so via Facebook Messenger/WhatsApp.

We will again today be prioritising customers with travel plans for this weekend, any general queries, quotes and bookings will be processed as soon as we can and we thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Important information for everyone on tomorrow’s Polar Express DAYTRIP:

We’ve just received a notification that The Polar Express trains have been cancelled tomorrow. We have no other option but to cancel the trip. We’ll be in touch tomorrow with information on refunds/potential rebooking but for now please don’t travel to your pickup. Thank you 🧡

For everyone travelling on the OVERNIGHT trip we’ll provide a further update in the morning around 8am.

Update for passengers travelling on our trip to Crealy Park & Polar Express tomorrow: Crealy Park have only now made us aware of their decision to close. As the Polar Express is the main aspect of the trip and that’s still due to be open as planned we will be going ahead with our trip. We’ll make alternative plans to replace Crealy in the morning and Lee will update you on the coach.

🚌 Mynt trip to London - operating with pickups 2.5 hours LATER than planned.
🚌 Coracle’s trip to ABBA Voyage - operating one hour EARLIER than planned.

Unfortunately some trips have been cancelled:

✈️ The Lapland daytrip is unfortunately cancelled.
