Happy Friday all, in between all the miles I drive the fitness journey continues 💪

First photo was taken on the 11th May weighing 92kg with extremely high blood pressure.

2nd photo was today, exactly 5 months later weighing in at 76.2kg with blood pressure m now perfect.

Tomorrow, George and I are taking part in the Burn series, Margam Park which consists of a 3km run, 12km bike ride, 1km kayaking and 2 km orienteering.

As with everything, I’m determined and committed. I decided to change my life to try and be a more active dad and basically keep up with George , through a strict diet and regular exercise I think I achieved what I set out to do 💙

Winter is certainly on its way, winter coats are out👌

After dropping a client to London Heathrow this morning it was time t head to for breakfast. The food here is beautiful, highly recommend giving it a visit.

Being Saturday means cheat day although we still opted for the healthy option, the Scottish Salmon and Scrambled egg simply sounded to good to@miss washed down with a green tea.

Car has had a valet and is ready for this afternoon’s collection travelling back to Wales.

Today was supposed to be a rare day off, but in true Martin fashion, when a last-minute booking came in for one of our valued clients, he didn’t hesitate to say yes. So, instead of the birthday breakfast we had planned, he’s now doing a 300-mile round trip from Cardiff to London! His dedication and commitment are why MET Executive Travel has become the number one VIP & Executive travel business in Wales, and it’s thanks to his hard work and passion.

But more than being an amazing visionary, Martin is the most wonderful husband, my best friend, and the most incredible dad to our boys. We are so lucky to have him in our lives, and we love him more than words can express.

Massive thank you of for inviting me to a lunch with Welsh Boxing legend today at .

Being a boxing fan it was great to grab a pic with Joe and listen to him reflect on his unbelievable career, in my eyes, one of the greatest boxers ever, his record says it all.

Also good to meet another Welsh legend, Olympic gold medalist .

All in all, a fantastic afternoon where I feel so lucky to have been part of, fantastic food, fantastic wine and fantastic company.

How it all started versus where we are now 😮

Our first van, an 8 seater Ford with no AC & cloth, a wheel trim that kept coming off, cloth seats & no privacy glass. We used to hand our clients battery operated fans to keep them cool in the summer, bottled water was kept in a sealed container that we filled with Ice & Water🤣

We have grafted continuously and continue to do so, 7 years later to that day here we are parked at Elstree Studios in London for BBC Strictly Come Dancing

We have built up the most incredible client base which has without doubt positioned ourselves as Wales number one choice for VIP & Executive travel.

5am and as always I pop in to give my best best mate a kiss and cuddle before I head off to work. He had gone to sleep with his medals laid out next to him, dreaming of being the best at rugby and football. His passion, focus, and determination are incredible. He’s not just hoping to succeed—he’s visualizing it, living it, and manifesting his goals even in his dreams. He truly believes that anything is possible if you love what you do, and that mindset is something we can all learn from, whether in sport, business, or life.

Watching him reminds me how important it is to keep the passion in everything we do. Just like in business, if you put your heart into it and work relentlessly towards your goals, success becomes a byproduct of your love for the journey. It's not just about talent or luck—it's about perseverance, dedication, and believing that you can be the best.

I couldn’t be prouder of George for having such a powerful mindset at a young age. His drive inspires me every day to bring the same energy and passion to my own work. It’s proof that no matter how big the dream, if you love what you do and commit yourself to it, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

My favourite day of the week is Sunday, why? Because it’s the one day I try to take a day off driving and watch my best mate do his thing for under 9’s rugby team.

For those who don’t know under 9’s is when the kids transition from tag rugby to actual tackling, it’s a huge step and I’m so pleased the George has absolutely smashed it, I just had to share.

This boy makes me so proud, he’s good at everything he does and the way he has taken to tackling is fantastic.

Well done Porgie, thank you for making me such a proud daddy, love you always ❤️❤️

Sometimes we just need to take a pause and appreciate how lucky we are.

Yesterday we were booked to drive a young man to London from Cardiff requested by specialists for an urgent hospital appointment.

As the man came out of his house his eyes lit up when he realised that the V Class was his for the day. We hit it straight off and he soon began telling me how he had recently moved into the flat provided to him after being in a hostel for the last 3 years which sounded like hell 😥. 4 years ago he was working two jobs and enjoying life until tragedy struck, he was involved in an accident literally breaking every bone in his body including his spine, he was told he would never walk or work again.

Through sheer determination, he does now walk with crutches although is in constant pain, has very little sleep and can not work.

We got in so well, he told me about the bucket lists he had which included seeing things in London he had only ever seen on TV and how excited he was to be travelling to London that day. What broke my heart was finding out that he had been given £25 for food by the hospital for his day in London and unfortunately £30 has gone out of his his account on a bill leaving him completely penniless, not bothered in the slightest he basically implied he would not eat for the next couple of days 😥. He wasn’t looking for sympathy, he was a lovely guy who has just fallen on extremely hard times due to no fault of his own.

When we reached London the hospital was in the dock lands away from the sights, we had an hour and a half to spare so I set up a route and made sure he saw the sights, he was like a kid at Christmas 😀. We passed Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Bridge, The London Eye and crossed the Thames giving him incredible views. He was snapping away excited like a tourist and kept telling me it was a day he would always remember.

Whilst he was in the appointment we I made a quick dash to M&S and made sure he had some food to enjoy on his way back to Wales, a lovely added surprise set up waiting for him & again he couldn’t thank me enough.

We treated him like the ultimate VIP and not only did he love it we loved it too.

It was a fantastic day and one that he will most certainly remember for the rest of his life. If you’re reading this it was an absolute pleasure to have you onboard, we hope to see you again and wish you all the best in your recovery 💙

An absolutely true story. 7 years ago I was parked in a supermarket taxi tank waiting for my next fare which more than likely would be £4.50 and I would be hoping for a 50p tip! I had no qualifications, no GCSE’s, no capital and no financial backing. What I did have was an old Ford Mondeo, belief and drive, we so wanted to build something that I could be proud of, that my family could be proud of and with that I set out on my own. 7 years later through nothing but hard work, determination, graft and lots of headaches we find ourselves hosting 15 of our good friends in a private box at the Cardiff stadium for a fantastic experience watching the football. This is purely down to the commitment we have put into not only building a fantastic business but building tremendous trust and friendship with our clients, and it is with thanks to one of those clients that made this possible. My dreams and my ambitions are certainly becoming a reality, if you have a dream then simply don’t give up and work work work…they won’t come to you!! We would never believe that we get to go to the places we go, meet the people we do and have the business we have if it wasn’t for anything but hard work. Work your ass off and anything is possible 👊👊💪
