Whether you're planning a feast for friends and family or just want to be sure you can cope with muddy paws and boots; with plenty of space to store food and goodies in our spacious kitchen and to deal with wet clothes in the utility room, you're guaranteed a stress free break. REACH Retreat has a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and washer/dryer, plus clothes horses and plenty of room in the utility to dry things off. We also provide bedding and towels as well as extra blankets for snuggling and dog towels for after your wet walks. Everyone can enjoy our REACH Retreat near Carnforth, but we've taken extra care to make it wheelchair accessible and to include some equipment that can help you use the wet rooms and bedrooms easily. The lodge has a level, wraparound deck with a ramp to the private car parking space. The door thresholds are low profile and you can check the door widths and room dimensions on the floor plan on our website. There are 2 double bedrooms and a double sofa bed at the lodge. There's also a single bedroom with a moveable profiling bed and padded bumpers; this room also has one of the 2 wet rooms en suite, equipped with a mobile hoist and waterproof shower chair. Both wet rooms have grab handles by the toilets and showers - showers have a waterfall head and a smaller, removable shower head too. There's a table top fan provided and space to charge an electric wheelchair in the utility room. When you stay at the lodge you'll get a complimentary pass to the swimming pool, gym and sauna. There is a chair hoist and accessible changing area at the swimming pool but we recommend that you check its suitability for your own needs before you visit; details are in the FAQ on our website. The lodge is set in beautiful grounds with the lake nearby and plenty of level paths. It's also within sight of the Waters Edge restaurant and bar, which is wheelchair accessible and dog friendly too. Our holiday lodge is perfectly placed to explore the dog friendly South Lakeland Leisure Village, with its level paths and beautiful gardens set around a lake full of wildlife. With private, off road parking and a secure decking area, everyone can relax. It's all on one level with a ramp from the parking area; the lodge's wide patio doors have a low threshold too. You could rug up and enjoy our seating area on the decking or enjoy a meal at the outdoor table. The lake, Waters Edge restaurant and bar, pool and gym are a short walk away - you can even see them from the patio!
