Audrey’s studio is located on her farm, just a few miles from us. Why not have some “me” time with some friends? You don’t have to know how to paint and it is a wonderful wholesome way to spend a few hours. We have availability for May 7th and we can accommodate 6 people.

Titanic Belfast has just re-opened after renovations. Why not book a stay with us and visit this fantastic venue? It is only a 40 minute train journey from Whitehead Train Station, where you can use the park n ride service with free car parking. The Christmas vibe has arrived at Loughview Lodge!

We have offers on, so why not take a break with us where you can enjoy the walks to the lighthouse or into Whitehead, then relax in the upstairs living room with complimentary coffee or hot chocolate? We have a 55” Smart TV with Netflix and Disney+

The Whitehead Victorian Street Fair takes place this year on November 26th and is very popular with locals and visitors from throughout Northern Ireland.

The Belfast Christmas Market takes place in front of the city hall from November 19th to December 22nd and is always a big success. Hop on the train at Whitehead and in 30 mins you will arrive at Lanyon train station. A free bus takes you from outside the station to Belfast city centre in 5 minutes. Check out both online!

As winter starts it is warm and cozy at Loughview Lodge!

It’s quiet, private, secluded and on The Blackhead Path, just a 10 minute walk from The Blackhead Lighthouse!

A 15 minute drive brings you to Brown’s Bay Beach and Skernaghan Point where you can have a walk along the beach or you can venture to Skernaghan Point, a National Trust walk along a grassy field to the rocky coastline. Afterwards you can relax at The Lodge with a complimentary cappuccino or hot chocolate!

Fancy some Christmas shopping? Park at the park n ride at Whitehead Train Station and in 30 mins, by train, you will be in Belfast. A courtesy bus takes you from outside Lanyon Train station to the city centre where you can visit The Belfast Christmas Market which is in front of The City Hall from 19th November until 22nd December.

Every booking is provided with a welcome basket containing cereals, bread, milk, butter, jams, marmalade and biscuits.

As we start the build up to Christmas, why not treat yourself to a short break before the hectic preparations start? We are currently running offers with Airbnb.

Loughview Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen and a spectacular view of the ships passing in Belfast Lough from the upstairs living room. We can accommodate 6 people.

Fancy a walk? At the bottom of the lane you will find the Golden Steps. 112 steps will take you down the cliff to the shore, turn right and in 10 minutes you will reach the village of Whitehead. Turn left and you can walk to the lighthouse.

After a brisk walk in the sea air, sit back and relax with a choice of Netflix or Disney+ which you can enjoy on our 55” T.V. We provide complimentary hot chocolate and coffee.

Summer has come to an end at Loughview Lodge and we were fortunate enough to be almost fully booked!
