The Hideaway is a holiday log cabin in South West Scotland. It's a very rural property surrounded by magnificent hills. A perfect peaceful retreat.

The Hideaway is a self catering log cabin in South West Scotland. Ideal for a short romantic break or a longer trip to discover more of what Scotland has to offer
It consists of an open plan/studio bedroom, lounge area kitchenette/dining area and en-suite toilet and shower. Mod cons include TV/DVD, a gas hob, full oven , microwave,fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. All the cutlery , dishes, ute

nsils, pots , pans are included in the price . We also provide bedding, linen and towels . All you need to bring is your food, drink and fun
The nearest village is St John's Town of Dalry ( 3 miles away ) where there are 2 pubs that can cater for lunch and evening meals, a post office, petrol station and a small convenience store. The nearest Town is Castle Douglas (18 miles away), where a wider variety of shops and restaurants can be found. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR RATES AND AVAILABILITY

Hi folks, we are particularly busy at the moment so we would recommend booking as far in advance as you can if you would like to come and dine with us. Our opening times for lunches are Wednesday - Sunday 12-2pm (slightly later on Sundays) and for evening meals are Wednesday - Saturday 5.30-8pm.
