We are delighted to announce that we have received grant funding from both CnES Crown Estates Fund and CBAB Spagan Fund to restart the rangers service on Barra and Vatersay. The service will be run and managed by Bùth Bharraigh.

Soon we will be advertising for a Ranger/s for an initial period of 52 weeks for 15 hours a week. We also have funding to hire seasonal ranger/s for 26 weeks for 12 hours a week.

Ben is doing a beach clean on Saturday 10th August at the Maull in Eoligarry at 2pm.

Rocky ground so wear sturdy boots/shoes.

Ben is doing a beach clean tomorrow, Saturday 3rd August. Meet at the container at the golf course at 11am.

Walk to the start point will be 15-20mins and then walking around the shoreline. Rocky ground so wear sturdy boots/shoes.
