After a festive break filled with quality family time, I’m reflecting on last year with gratitude. Here’s some of the highlights:

At the end of November, Kaylee and I attended Travel Counsellors’ annual conference in one of our favourite cities, Manchester. This year felt extra special as we celebrated 30 incredible years of TC!

The milestone got me reflecting on my own journey.
I’ve been in the travel business for over 30 years now with 25 of those dedicated to corporate travel.
Suffice to say - I’ve seen it all.
From clients waiting in long queues for printed paper tickets to today’s sleek digital travel itineraries with real-time updates. The industry has come a long way, and Travel Counsellors has always been the best at embracing change and driving innovation.
Being part of a community that’s always ahead of the curve, always evolving, and as passionate about travel as we are is what keeps us excited about what we do. Here’s to many more years of making smarter, smoother, stress-free travel a reality for our clients. 🌍✈️

If you are due to travel on Saturday (07 Dec) based on current forecast travel disruption is highly
Likely. Although no official a named storm as yet it may soon be given wind strengths.

The weather will be bad pretty much all day with high winds coming in from 6pm Friday, if you can change your plans now you would be advised to do so, currently loganair and easyJet are offering free changes.

In view of the yellow weather warning forecast for the 5th, 6th and 7th December across parts of the UK and Isle of Man; Loganair are offering customers that may be affected the opportunity to adjust travel plans without charge.

Affected airports - 5th and 6th

Isle of Man, Liverpool, Manchester, City of Derry Airport, Campbeltown, Islay and Tiree.

Affected airports - 7th

Southampton, London Heathrow, Birmingham, Isle of Man and Manchester.
