Storm Cottage, Cornwall Stunning sea views - stylish Cornish beach cottage - the perfect getaway Sleeps 6, parking for 3 cars, by two beaches, no pets.

Relax with stunning views of the sea in a stylish Cornish seaside cottage, situated right on the beach in Kingsand, in Cornwall's forgotten corner - an area of outstanding coastal beauty. Storm Cottage is a gorgeous spot in a very special place. The kind of place where kids run barefoot, you can enjoy a drink overlooking the beach - and you can get lost for hours exploring rockpools, doing coastal

walks or just looking at the stunning view. Storm Cottage is an upside down cottage, the layout designed to maximise the views. It's simply decorated, bathed in light with a comfortable New England feel. There's a stunning open plan lounge with floor to ceiling views of the ocean with two large comfortable cream sofas and a chaise longue perfect for gazing out to sea in. There's also a new Smart TV with DVD player all linked to our super-fast Cornish wireless broadband. Our two double bedrooms have sea views and en-suites. One en-suite even has portholes out to sea - spot a dolphin while you soak in our roll top bath! The ground floor cabin style bedroom has two singles, is perfect for kids, and has walk in wetroom and bathroom adjacent, perfect for flip-flopping into for a shower after a day in the beach. There is a duck egg blue, Shaker style kitchen-diner, with a table for six and french doors out to the sun deck. The cottage has two sea facing balconies and a private deck/eating area. There is rare and exclusive parking for three cars. Either side of the cottage there are two beaches and three pubs, serving great food, two cafes, two shops and a post office within easy walking distance. The sheltered sand and shingle beaches are safe and perfect for swimming, rock-pooling, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding or boating. Kingsand featured in The Life of Turner movie directed by Mike Leigh and starring Timothy Spall. Local sights are at Rame Head, Mount Edgcumbe House and Gardens, Whitsand Bay, which features a marine park, and Anthony House (location of Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland) and its Woodland Gardens. Brilliant local restaurants include The Devonport, The View and The Carew Arms. The surf beaches of Cornwall, The Eden Project and Dartmoor are under an hour away. Hop on the Cremyll Ferry to get to Plymouth, with its great shopping, Theatre Royal and historic Royal William Yard and restaurants. Kingsand is a very special place - child friendly, safe and fun - this is a brilliant place to stay!
