A highlight of any stay at Temple Guiting Manor & Barns is its exceptional gardens.

The gardens were designed by .blom the landscape gardener who was chosen by HRH The Prince of Wales, now King Charles to design the “Healing Garden” at the 2002 Chelsea Flower Show, which won the Royal Horticultural Society’s Silver Medal.

Jinny has created a substantial number of gardens and landscapes, many of which have won awards. She has designed five Chelsea Flower Show Gardens; in 2002 for HRH the Prince of Wales. For Laurent-Perrier in 2006 and 2007, winning Gold. She returned in 2013 with Prince Harry’s first excursion into the show in the Centenary year of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The leading British landscape gardener has written a selection of books, the most recent is ‘What Makes A Garden. A considered approach to garden design’, which builds upon the work of ‘The Thoughtful Garden’, giving a broader idea of how Jinny thinks about garden design.

Jinny has collaborated with to create a wonderful collection of 12 paint colours drawing inspiration from Jinny’s own experience of the outdoors, her special bond with nature and her unique talent to landscape gardens with a natural feel.

Guests staying at Temple Guiting Manor are fortunate to have access to these fabulous gardens designed by Jinny, which are free to explore & enjoy during their stay. They are the perfect places to unwind on a warm day, relax with a book & are the ideal vantage point from which to take in the views of the surrounding Cotswold countryside.
