Back to site visits and stop outs 🏨

Down south to start the week on for meetings and projects to look at.

We also have a engineer on site currently carrying out a solar maintenance visit, our client solar system is currently turned off and awaiting on a full report.

It’s seen better days and is a poor installation to say the least. But over the next few days our team will provide a in depth report to provide our client.

The importance of maintenace has so many positives and enables you to get the best out your systems.

January Recap ⚡️

Before we go full steam into Febuary today a recap on January and what we achieved

What a start it was, looking forward to getting started today into Febuary with more new projects to be started.

A Successful Shut Down Conpleted 🏭😎

First shut down in 2025 our team was at the last leg of a project for a client installing 2 x 630amp supplies

Our engineers have safley isolated the factory, terminated 4 x 185mm 4 core cables in a very tight LV Panel, this was by far straight forward due to head heights and space also busbars running top of the panel.

Re-energised, tested ensuring the factory is now is full operational for works to carry on Monday.

I can’t thank my team enough for there efforts on this project they have worked so hard and put some hours in, away from home. We really do have a very strong team.

For any industrial installations we have a large portfolio and references.

Engineers straight on the tools this morning 👷🏼‍♂️

Terminating has started today on our project, 8 x 185mm 4 core SWA to terminate over the next few days.

We are due to handover Monday after a full site shutdown on Sunday.

Project update ⚡️

A trip down Swindon for the night to catch up with a team of engineers who are currently installing 2 x 630amp supplies for a valuable client.

It’s our 9th day on the job and we have over 100m 450mm ladder installed over 400m 185mm 4 core SWA and CPC installed.

Isolators glanded ready for crimping in the morning, they have worked very hard on this project.

it’s been a long week and I’m ready for my own bed I’ve completed site visits from Scotland right down to Swindon

We have over 400m 185mm 4 core SWA and CPC getting installed on a project down south.

Great start to the cable pulling with one out of four already installed.

630amp isolators installed ready for terminations to start later this week.

What a day…. Storm Eowyn and 70m 185mm 4 core Elsweedy cables 😭

As you can see our Barriers didn’t survive!

Wish us luck, luckily it’s going direct under ground so shouldn’t be a tricky pull, but the storm will be a task 🌬️

What a week it’s been already 🤯

Some great progress on multiple projects, by the end of the month we are on target for installing over 2,000amp worth of power in various industries.

We have a project that is now trenched out and ready for us to pull a 185mm SWA tomorrow and then back filled by our ground work contractor followed with concreting next week.

We’ve come across a lot of obstacles on the dig with some existing cables not even 200mm deep 😱 and other pipes

This is a full turnkey project giving our client a stress free project.

Early night tonight as I’ll be jumping on the cable pull tomorrow with my team 😎

Our team down Swindon on a new glass manufacturing site are making good progress installing 450mm heavy duty ladder.

2nd day on the job and just under 100m has been installed. Preparation before attending site is a must.

We are on target to get all containment installed for Friday rest for cable pull on Monday 👌🏻

A quick project update 😎

Our team of engineers are making good progress on 2nd fixing our trailer socket project.

Dead testing to commence tomorrow and labelling. We have ground works to start tomorrow carrying out a 45m dig for us.

Friday we have the main supply scheduled to be installed and back filled on Monday 😎

Ideally ground works to be done before we did all the GRP but due to weather we suffered delays and we are determined to hit our handover date.

Locked & Loaded 🚐

We are ready to start our first biggest project of 2025 as we head down south on Monday for a Glass manufacturing factory.

We have 120m 450mm ladder to install with over 400m 185mm 4 core SWA and CPC. 2 x 630amp isolators.

Everything is all in order and deliveries ready for Monday

- Containment
- 460m 185mm 4 core
- CPC
- Scissor lifts
- Work benches
- Site setups
- Hotels booked
- RAMs

Engineers to be on site 7am.

We have tight deadlines for this project but we have some very highly skilled engineers.

Busy day on the road 🚐

First site visit over in Newark drop some materials off for a team of engineers that are currently carrying out new installation.

We are installing 32amp TPN RCD sockets and new containment. With new 250amp supply and distribution board which will be housed in a GRP housing.

We are giving our client a full turnkey project with all ground works and electrical installation to be completed.

This is for a new area where our client will be parking tempreture controlled trailers.

Early morning trip down south for a pre-project site visit today with some of my engineers.

Our team is scheduled to commence on Monday the 20th, installing a 450mm heavy-duty ladder in this new facility for a furnace and motors.

Preparation is essential 🔑, by conducting this site visit today, our team is getting prepared with the location and devising a strategy to ensure we can start off strong on Monday, facilitating a smooth project ex*****on for our client.

It’s a privilege to be part of this project, marking our second collaboration with this client, and it's an honor to assist them in their growth journey while leading the industry.

We will provide updates on the progress of the job as we move forward.

Back to the class room 🤓

have been on a solar maintenance course. It’s been a while for my self but some of our engineers have gained there qualification in the last few years on the installations.

It was good for them to get back in the class room and refresh on solar maintenance.

It’s also good to see a well presented course and the importance on solar maintenance,

This month we have invested in our teams with additional training we have engineers completing various courses from EV Charging, 2391 Inspection testing, Solar refresh course and IPAF

We are always looking to invest in our engineers and bring the best out in them.

All hands on this morning at the HQ

Our builder friends are starting refurb works reception/meeting room area.

After 2 years I thought it was time we had a refurb, it has done it jobs since we moved in and we spent very little money just a lick of paint.

I can’t wait to see this finished in the next few weeks 😎

‼️ Project Confirmed ‼️

We are off to an excellent beginning this year as we have secured a project with one of the UK’s top glass manufacturers at their new facility.

Our role will involve the installation of 2 x 630amp supplies intended for a new furnace and sizable motors.

We will also be setting up a new heavy-duty containment system connecting the existing LV switchgear to the locations of the new furnaces. Additionally, 2 x 630amp isolators will be installed.

Nearly 500 meters of 185mm 4 core SWA and CPC will be put in place, with the work scheduled to start on January 20th.

We are excited to announce yet another successful NICEIC Assessment.

We have successfully completed our annual assessment, maintaining full scope under our accreditation.

During our visit, we recorded ZERO non-conformances, which fills me with pride considering the range of work we undertake. Our assessor provided excellent feedback regarding our office documentation and the installations performed on-site.

All wrapped up for another year 🥳

I cannot express enough gratitude to my team of engineers and our office staff; they all put in tremendous effort to ensure we deliver the best service to our customers while adhering to the highest standards.

One year ago today…. Our portable workshop left our office after being fitted out and headed over to its first project. It was sited at Leeds on a Glass factory rebuild project where was main electrical contractor, the container helped us work efficiently and kept our site tidy. After 9 months it headed to another project in Barnsley to support our engineers on a major electrical infrastructure upgrade on a cold store distribution centre. It’s due to be removed from site in February 2025 then on to its next project unknown yet but we have a few in the pipeline where it will a great asset. Many pros in having this workshop on our projects. We are installing LED lighting on each loading bay to ensure better vision for shunters and a tracker system. Another week ticked off ✔️ A massive good luck to Rassam Creanery tonight for opening newly refurbished Sheffield branch Quick preview of the external 👀 We was appointed Electrical contractor to carry out the following, - Electrical distribution - Electrical and containment - LED Lighting system - Emergency Lighting - CCTV - Fire Alarm - Data Our project manager Tim designed the full installation and managed the job from strip out to hand over. Our engineers worked very hard on this project and the end product is amazing no photos or videos will show how good this shop is. WOW this is a throwback….! 3 1/2 years ago this was our stores / workshop 😮 we had a little registered office which could only fit one desk in. As I was getting our name and brand recognised we was getting busier but I had nowhere to store things, so I rented this garage for £10 a week. I had big visions where I wanted to be and wasn’t afraid of hard work and long hours, we then moved to a bigger premises with a office and stores combined and now in the next week we move into bigger premises which will make us run more efficient as a company with more space. And bigger plans😎 I have the same commitment and work ethic as I’ve always had but only bigger dreams. Work hard and stay humble. Full day over at our Electrical project in Leeds today, engineers are making good progress abs within schedule. Demolition works have started on the L2 hot end ready for us to start phase 2 Lighting installation. We will post some updated photos at the end of the week.

Our engineers have been cracking on over at Our project in Leeds, They have installed meters and meters of tray work and unit strut but we have around 1 week left for containment then onto the lighting. Making very good progress, today I’ve been on site and we’ve had a lot of complements from the mangers and directors of our installation work. We have received another order for the Phase 2 lighting installation. We will keep you updated!
