Early morning on the road heading over to Liverpool.

Quick site visit and catch up with a team of engineers that is currently carrying out a containment and cabling project for a new client.

We are working on behalf of a machine tooling installation company. Installing all cabling and containment and connecting into control panels.

A first installation for us but our client has spoken very highly of our engineers on site, also site manager feedback is very promising.

A very neat installation and can’t wait to see the finish product.

We were tasked with designing a lighting system for loading bay doors as part of an ongoing project involving a state-of-the-art tracker system. It’s nearly time for our Christmas merch 🎄

In the a few weeks time I’ll be hitting the road visiting all our clients around the UK dropping off our Christmas merch.

I’ll be covering thousands of miles to hand deliver them my self and to thank all my clients for the support they have given us this year, we couldn’t do it without your guys!

I’m humbled for all the opportunities that have been given us throughout the year, the trust our clients put in us to ensure top quality services.

What a week it’s been 🤯

Despite a little snowfall our engineers have been travelling nationwide to support our customers.

We have covered the following areas this week alone,

- Chesterfield - Southampton
- Sheffield - Grimsby
- Gillingham - Leeds
- Bristol - Liverpool
- Manchester - Wakefield

From various types of electrical works from new installation, maintenance, electrical testing.

Due to our clients having multiple sites around the UK and us having engineers strategically placed we are able to support nationwide.

8am pre start siting meeting down in Bristol this morning.

New project started installing new 100amp TP distribution board, new containment and 6 x 16amp RCD sockets TP.

Our engineers will be in this project for the next two weeks ready for handover in 15th of this month.

With busy loading bay areas our engineers have planned out with site and will ensure no down time for our client.

Another great service from Switch Electrical Supplies materials on site for 8am on the dot in Bristol.

Now time for me to head north for a project update site visit. some miles to be covered today.

First site visit of the day takes me down south on a large distribution site.

Our engineers are currently installing containment for a new 250amp supply.

A new 250amp distribution board with multiple RCD sockets ready for new PPT trucks.

Our Engineers completed a Electrical installation on a large DHL distribution site at the weekend.

Our client called us for a reactive job on Friday needing the power in certain locations ready for Monday.

Our team pulled it out the bag once again🙏🏻

Phase One Completed ✔️

Friday we completed phase one on a large electrical upgrade infrastructure project for our client.

We installed new distribution boards in various locations for loading bay doors and new supplies to each door. This is part of a large project we are working on to upgrade the existing electrical infrastructure due to being old and not maintainable.

We have worked with our client a number of weeks for preparation to ensure minimal down time for this very busy distribution centre.

The work consist of all new containment, distribution boards, cabling and a full site shut down on main switch gear but with great planning we handed over a smooth project with minimal down time.

Now we will start phase two, upgrading various distribution boards around site.

Our client is very happy with the project so far and workmanship provided.

We work with some of the UK’s largest distribution logistics companies supporting them nationwide with various sites on all Electrical infrastructure. We’ve created a strong customer base in this area and always looking to strengthen it.

Reactive 🚐 💨

Yesterday I had a phone call at 2pm a client of ours needed a urgent power installing in a area for Monday morning on a large logistic distribution centre.

Luckily we had a engineer not to far away and he attended site spec the job out and sent over materials needed.

I did the RAMs while in the airport on my way back from Germany 🇩🇪 all approved ready for a team of engineers to attend this morning to carry out the installation.

Massive thank you to Switch Electrical Supplies Ltd who came out last night and delivered materials to our office absolute top class service.

I got home late last night back to the office at 5am van loaded and on way to meet my engineers in Nottingham for them to head to Northampton ✔️

Monday site visits today with Tim our project manager. we kick the week off in Bradford.

We have been invited to tender for a large major refurbishment works on the whole electrical infrastructure over 3 floors and basement.

Due to the building being occupied a strategic plan would have to be in place to ensure a smooth transition.

Bristol tomorrow for a large distribution site visit finishing the week off in Germany at Glasstec.

Can’t beat Sunday mornings in the office ☕️ 💻

Getting the week prepared for our team of engineers due to me being away.

Bristol then I’m off to Germany for the glasstec 2024 looking forward to catching up with some people. Also putting names to faces and seeing what the future in glass has to offer.

We’ve been in the glass industry for around 3 years now, the experience we have gained is impeccable from full factory Electrical fit outs to wiring glass inspection equipment, Zippes, batch plant wiring the list goes on.

Our promise is to give the customer a great experience, hassle free and a high standard of work.

We’ve recently completed a full glass factory electrics rewire for one of the largest glass companies in Europe this was a huge milestone for us.

4.30am start for a team of engineers.

This morning our team had to shut down a large cold storage distribution site to enable us to connect some new supplies.

As we know these shut downs can be very complex due to amount of equipment on site, time is precious!

Due to our teams preparation through the week, we shut down the whole site, new terminations connected and tested powered up with minimal down time.

Our client was very happy with the outcome and the organisation our team offered.

This one’s a first for me in 8 years this is the first time I’ve not been on a shut down with my team, but I’m proud of them all!

This afternoon we managed to get a few Engineers back to the HQ as Daz turned 50 this week!

It’s a shame we couldn’t get everyone here but it’s hard to get everyone in the same place! But it was good for the engineers to catch up, a lot banter and laughs!

It’s all fun and games!

Some great progress on our projects this week.

We currently have a team of engineers upgrading some electrical infrastructure for a large cold store logistic company.

Our team are installing new supplies to loading bay doors and installing new lighting in small void areas.

All our engineers are confined space trained this allows us to undertake variety of electrical works in multiple environments.

Another week ticked off ✔️ A massive good luck to Rassam Creanery tonight for opening newly refurbished Sheffield branch Quick preview of the external 👀 We was appointed Electrical contractor to carry out the following, - Electrical distribution - Electrical and containment - LED Lighting system - Emergency Lighting - CCTV - Fire Alarm - Data Our project manager Tim designed the full installation and managed the job from strip out to hand over. Our engineers worked very hard on this project and the end product is amazing no photos or videos will show how good this shop is.
