I was prepared to totally hate Cruising when I went on my first one in 2018. Instead I fell in love with it and went on to do a 9 night Cruise in 2022. I'm always looking at cruise offers and cant wait to get back on board a ship as soon as possible!

Fred Olsen is Family-run, Norwegian-owned cruise line that operates small classic ships which are popular among Brits looking for adventurous itineraries, comfortable cabins and good food and entertainment with a strong focus on special interests including gardening and painting. Expect classic and affordable cruises with traditional touches such as black tie on formal night.

Why I like Fred Olsen-

I must admit I had never considered Fred for my own cruise but I was totally blown away when I did a ship visit. The ship was smaller but beautiful. The itinerary's were incredible and much more focused on exploring rather than just main tourist sights. As the ships are smaller they can also access smaller ports. Their Norwegian fjords itinerary's are an excellent example of this.

Another reason is SOLO travel! Fred is great at solo travel and they have opportunities to meet other solo cruises. They also do some great solo offers!!!
