Rivington Services is approximately eight miles from the centre of Bolton, between junctions 6 and 7 on the M61. From the South, the site is a gateway to The Lake District – one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations – as well as Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool. From the North, the M61 is a primary route to the key North West commercial centres of Bolton, Manchester, Salford and Wigan.
