As 2023 closes so does a small business..

Rorkies Bus has now ceased trading..

It has been a fantastic 11 years, many wonderful memories made and being able to take part in so many special occasions has been the greatest honour and privilege.

I thank all my customers and everyone who has been involved in helping me keep the bus going over the years.

YMS Travel who have an ex London Routemaster in Canterbury East Kent is the local operator to take care of your vintage bus requirements.

I am pleased to say that I have been accepted to take part in this fantastic yearly event with RML2454 for some very worthy charities.

I am looking for 1 or maybe 2 volunteers to help out with the driving, you must have a valid PCV and CPC licences if interested in being part of this brilliant experience please contact me.

Anyone wanting to travel on the bus to Salisbury it will be leaving Friday 18/8/23 from Canterbury and returning on Sunday 20/8/23..

A big thank you goes out to a good friend of mine who has created a very special picture of Ruby Routemaster taking her 6 months to make, it is made up of tiny gems, approximately 90,000 of them and all placed individually by hand. You can see the little gems glistening in the light.
All she needs is your favourite photograph and these very special pictures can be made for you, dogs a speciality.

17 years ago to the day my first climb up into the cab of RML 2454 at the
‘Ensign Raffle’.. Had so many good times with this bus over the years creating so many happy memories not only for me but my family my friends and it seems all that travel on her.

Rock on Ruby here’s to the next 17years 😀
