When speaking with new customers lately, I’ve realised that they’ve delayed contacting me because they are unsure how I get paid or have assumed it will be more expensive to seek the help of a travel professional.

There is commission in everything that you book online, and when booking with me, I receive that commission from my suppliers the month that you travel.

If you don’t book, I don’t get paid which is why I’ve introduced a service fee to cover my time, which is redeemable against your holiday booking.

The highly anticipated fourth hotel in the Mar-Bella Collection will open in this Summer on the beautiful island of Corfu.

Named Avali – a dialect of Corfu, meaning ‘a small bay’ – the property is set between verdant mountains and a sandy pebbled beach on the sparkling Ionian Sea in Agios Ioannis, on the South East of the island near the existing MarBella and Nido.

I visited MarBella and Nido the year before last and can’t wait to visit Avali.

Avali will feature an expansive pool, acres of lush gardens and restaurants and bars, which will be available for guests from across the Mar-Bella Collection portfolio to enjoy.

Foodies will delight in the news that Avali will have a strong focus on gastronomy; with Zardini Restaurant at the heart of the resort (Tzardini in Corfiot, meaning ‘small garden’), an all-day Mediterranean-Asian fusion restaurant.

There's also a wellness focus, with Avali featuring indoor and outdoor fitness areas, water sports centre and an outdoor spa kiosk offering spa treatments in a private beach setting.
