But filled with so much joy & love all day long despite the weather ! We even managed a confetti moment during the only time all day when the rain [sort of] stopped but the wind kept doing its thing.
Do enjoy the many faces of James, who hates having his photo taken, so having me was his idea of torture, but I got him smiling in the end [although in reality if I had just given him a pint he’d have been smiling all shoot long] !
And the MC, who was in fact a guest, was T.H.E best I’ve had the pleasure of ‘working” with. In fact I’m sure if you paid him he’d make the perfect addition to any wedding !

Weddings can be so beautiful. Ok I get it … unlike this weekend, where we have had yet another storm [more on that this coming week] C&T got lucky with the weather last weekend & their guests managed to have a mini drinks reception outside before heading into the cosy, heated barn at Layer Marney Tower to play games & sip on mulled wine. But even so, the colours in the landscape were stunning & even the Silver Rolls blended in, not forgetting the fabulous RouteMaster bus giving a pop of colour & fun to the day.

And I can’t not mention the flowers by Julia at Wedding Panache - absolutely gorgeous !

These two made Intimate Weddings look hot 🔥 Kitty looked absolutely fabulous in her silver dress & boots, topped with the most gorgeous, designer kimono jacket made by

And of course James insisted they have his vintage Bentley too !

Their closest family & friends joined them at Braintree Town Hall for a very emotional ceremony, where there wasn’t a dry eye in the room, but we were soon laughing when James’s mum’s phone went off, not once but twice during the ceremony !

With these two !

L&B stole one another’s hearts when they met & they stole a little piece of my heart on Saturday with their cuteness.

They had a most beautiful, intimate wedding in Norfolk at Chaucer Barn, which I have also fallen head over heels in love with. Any venue that has acres of trees [all planted by the owner James], with endless, landscaped & wild fields wins me over in a heart beat & Chaucer Barn really felt like my happy place on Saturday.

Their day was filled with so much laughter & fun, the best ring bearer [Kerim] who made me smile all day long, cocktails that I wish I had been able to indulge in by the very talented mixologist , speeches that made us all cry & food that was to die for by the fabulous caterers .

Was in full force on Saturday when we had both biblical rain & glorious sunshine … and then a fireball sunset to finish off the day.

Both E&D were so determined to get outside as soon as the rain stopped, to make the most of the glistening light that happens straight after, in the fabulous grounds of Maidens Barn.

I am so grateful, humbled & excited to have attained this award, as it is judged by esteemed Gallerists, Photo Editors & Directors, Art Collectors, & other Photography Luminaries & I am up against world-wide photographers, so receiving this has made me incredibly happy.

I am also aware that I am very privileged to work in this incredible sector & meet not only wonderful couples, but other equally talented photographers that have become close friends as well.

Gets me every time, as it does when I receive an enquiry where I am already booked 🥺

I will be attending The Suffolk Wedding Show at the weekend & really looking forward to meeting lots of new couples looking to find their perfect wedding suppliers.

But please, if you are looking to book me, chat with me or merely considering me as your wedding photographer for 2025, I can’t urge you enough to get in touch as soon as possible because 2025 is looking almost booked up. I do have a sprinkling of bookings available during the year, but they are going very fast. My 2025 Autumn calendar has a handful of booking still available, but once I have reached my annual wedding booking limit I will no longer be taking on any more weddings for 2025.

Let’s face it … he stole the show. For those not in the know, Dexter is the gorgeous Golden that was Lauren & Hamish’s ring bearer. And he had t.h.e best day !

As did everyone who shared the day with the three of them. A day they were not sure if they would be able to share with Dexter, but he shone, spread smiles where ever his golden glitter landed & loved the constant supply of Scooby snacks !

This wedding day was filled with so much love & laughter that I’ve decided I needed to share a mini-blog post of this day rather than do simple sneak peeks [see link in Bio for Blog Post].

Every time I turned around all I saw were smiles & such an huge amount of love for Great Granny with her amazing cheer leading squad [scroll down to find them] !

The wedding & reception was held at GreyFriars in Colchester & in the evening the guests were entertained by the amazing indie band ‘Pulse’ at The 3 Wise Monkeys.

All I can say is thankfully puppy-dog Gunner remained cleaner on E&A’s wedding day than he did on their pre-wedding shoot [I made the mistake of taking a Golden Retriever puppy to a very muddy river … Ooops …. swipe left to see his happy, muddy face] !!

E&A wanted a chilled day with family & friends, a little cocktail bar & no first dance and that’s exactly what happened ! The wedding cake was made by her incredibly talented Maid of Honour and the evening music was played by the amazing musician Jordan.

I had a lovely surprise when I got home last night from a fabulous wedding yesterday. The judges at the International Photography Awards in NY have selected these images to go into the final round. It’s a huge honour to be noticed. Every year I feel myself getting more & more intimated to enter the awards, mainly because there is so much talent out there & to be “seen” by the IPA is a huge gift in itself.
So, today is a “good day” & I’m always incredibly grateful that my couples choose me to be the one to capture and, let’s face it, third wheel you all day (!) to give you cherished moments from your weddings day. So it’s a massive, heartfelt, THANK YOU from me 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
