Good Afternoon!

I’m back from my fantastic weeks family holiday in Menorca. We travelled from Newcastle with TUI and we stayed in the Globales Los Delfines Hotel All Inclusive for 7 Nights.

So just thought I would jump on and give you a bit of a blog about what we did. What the hotel & resort was like etc. and also share some pictures with you all…

First of all the hotel.. we previously stayed in the Globales Binimar hotel in 2019 so we wanted to compare it with the Los Delfines this time round..they were very similar in style and character the Los Delfines was much more compact with all of the apartments surrounding the pool area. It was very easy to find your way around the hotel and the waterpark was straight across the road which the kids loved!
The entertainment on an evening was very similar with a kids mini disco followed by a show / bingo for the adults. However the food in the Binimar was a much larger selection for breakfast, lunch & dinner I felt the food in the Los Delfines was very repetitive and although you could always find something to eat the choices could of been better.

We originally booked a one bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) however we were upgraded to a Two bedroom apartment (sleeps 6) despite being all inclusive we still had a full kitchen with cooking facilities / fridge / tea & coffee which was great.
We had a ground floor apartment which was very spacious and clean. The maid came round every 2 days with clean towels and changed the bed sheets etc. majority of the rooms are facing the pool however the stairs up to the third floor were quite steep and there were no lifts either so a lot of people struggled up and down with their suitcases.

Plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas available round the pool area then their was a smaller separate kids pool and a splash park with slides.
The water park across the road is included with all inclusive I would recommend getting there early on if you want sunbeds though as it gets quite busy. There is also a snack bar at the waterpark which serves San Miguel, soft drinks, hot dogs, burgers, chips, chicken nuggets & onion rings as part of your all inclusive. They do pizza and other things which you can pay extra for.

We visited jimmy hills on two evenings for a change of scenery the entertainment over there is much better and it’s within walking distance of the hotel. The cocktails are also much better but obviously you have to pay.

One night we visited the Irish bar 61 this was a good atmosphere

We also took the local bus into ciutadella town which was €1.70 each way to visit the local markets, harbour and shops. Bus number 61 comes every half an hour at the stop opposite the water park. Or it’s approximately €10-€13 in a taxi.

We walked along to the Cales piques beach which is more like a small cove with beautiful crystal waters and stunning views.

I’m sure if we had more time there would have been a lot more things to see and do. It’s a family friendly location and a good choice for couples wanting to relax too. 😃

⚠️ OUT OF OFFICE ☀️ ✈️

Just a heads up that I am now out of the office having a weeks All Inclusive family holiday in Menorca.. 😃

I will be sure to post some photos and an honest review of the lovely Globales Los Delfines Hotel when I get back.

Having stayed at the Globales Binimar in Menorca in 2019 I’m excited to try another hotel in their chain and head back to Jimmy Hills!
