I had the opportunity to visit Wild Ireland as part of Donegal/ Causeway Coastal Route Exchange. Thanks to Kelli from Carrickfergus Enterprise for organising. I highly recommend a visit and Killian McLaughlin is passionate about all his menagerie of animals, it was interesting to learn about the ecosystem, what a temperate rainforest is and how the different animals play a role in nature.

A great morning of hill rambling to Galbolly Hidden Village and beyond, arriving at Ardclinis Church, led by Seamus Milliken ably backed up by Bridie from Milliken Tours Ireland, amazing views from the top, a bit scary in places on the way down, however we all made it back safely 😀

Have you visited this beauty spot - Kearney Village?
This is a showpiece village carefully restored by the National Trust to give the authenticity of a traditional fishing village. The village lies three miles to the east of Portaferry, with views across to Scotland, the Isle of Man and the Mountains of Mourne.
A long narrow road through green, rounded drumlins takes visitors to the charming village, the eight-acre sandy beach of Knockinelder and a small pocket of saltmarsh.

I spent today in the company of Seamus & Bridie of Miliken Tours. Seamus guided twelve walkers from Dunseverick to Carrick a Rede, the weather was perfect and the company great, I highly recommend this walk, it was a great way to spend a Saturday 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️
