I’ll be honest having Barbie on the team on Saturday was hard work!
The rest of the group carried her mentally and physically all day.
She hustled people to get first photo at every summit.
She kept loosing kit, her hat was picked up by multiple people.
Her chat was non existent and she didn’t even bring any snacks!

Kara was an EXCELLENT mountain dog.

But they're there all the time so that's boring.

Shorter Mountain Walks - Cnicht.
We've been up and down Cnicht loads over the last few weeks.
There's lots of different routes, most of them take about 3 hours.
There's some scrambly bits and some bits that feel a bit exposed.
BUT all the bits are fun bits.
Give it a go, take a friend, it'll be an excellent day.

Great circular route onto Craig Cwm Silyn with an brilliant swim spot at Llynnau Cwm Silyn.
Cnicht. 'The Welsh Matterhorn'. With people. And dogs.
This was a great morning out...
Cnicht is the perfect mountain for families or folk that want to build confidence.
Pointy and exciting. Accessible, not daunting.
Loads of great routes. Up and down is fine.

There are BIG signs saying you mustn't swim.
So obviously don't do that - even though it looks amazing for a swim and has a gently shelving beach.
This is a walk that we enjoy. If you head into the mountains YOU must make sure that you have the fitness, experience, clothing and confidence to keep yourself safe.

We needed to walk up a hill. So we did.
Early start. Straight up the Watkins Path.
It felt good. We found a new swim spot.
Wild Winter Waterfall Walks.
The water IS starting to warm up. Slowly.
Swimming with the dogs is brilliant.
Honestly - wetsuits would have made this swim even better.
BUT - we couldn't be bothered to carry them.
Spring is coming...
Today, in North Wales, it is GRIM.
But, the daffodils are out, there are lambs everywhere and the days just keep getting longer.
Days like this...
Are just a few weeks away.
Advice.
Visit North Wales mid-week if you possibly can. Everywhere is SO much quieter. There are days that you can have iconic spots all to yourself.
