We have a new addition to the family! Meet Reggie our 9 week old German Shorthaired Pointer. Can’t wait to introduce him to all the beautiful walks in Crieff when he’s ready. If you have a dog and enjoy walking then Crieff is a brilliant option and all pubs and cafes are dog friendly too.

Hugh spotted a struggling bee on the path while we were cleaning the cottage so I mixed one of our sugar sachets with some water and it seemed to do the trick. 🐝 always save the bees 😁🐝🐝🐝🐝

3 years today we got the keys and the hard work began transforming the cottage into Tigh Chluaidh. Couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved in the 6 weeks it took to refurbish and so many guests have enjoyed a well earned break in our cosy home from home ❤️

We managed to sneak in a weekend ourselves at Tigh Chluaidh. Callie enjoyed paddling in Loch Earn yesterday and today and Crieff was looking good from Laggan Hill today, we stopped off at dog friendly Cafe Rhubarb on our way back for a bagel and got the usual warm welcome and after walking over 10 miles in the last 2 days Callie is having a well deserved rest.

This is Callie our beautiful rescue greyhound. We love to stay at Tigh Chluaidh ourselves whenever we can and are here for the weekend. We took Callie up to the High Street today and took her into Crieff Food Co (to the supermarket part and the cafe), Valentines clothes shop and Bar Square…..you can take your dog virtually everywhere! Crieff is the perfect place for a holiday with your pooch 🐕‍🦺🦮🐕🐩🐶

Lovely walk and a paddle for Callie at Lady Mary’s Walk today, love that we have this beautiful walk on the doorstep of Tigh Chluaidh. We were being watched by a sheep on the opposite bank too 🐑

When we bought and renovated Tigh Chluaidh 2.5 years ago our aim was to make it a true home from home from the comfy sofas, foot stools, mattress toppers and Sky TV to the multiple oven trays, dishwasher, multitude of utensils and 2….yes 2 frying pans! 😁😂

I’m pleased to say that many of our guest book entries comment on this 🤩
