Looking for a relaxing location? The Hilltown beach club with its Raica restaurant set the scene. An upmarket beach club, with a grass area and pool area. Relax in the infinity pool or dip in the Mediterranean Sea. Here is our unbiased brief review of the beach club and restaurant: The long beach is sandy with dark sand and some access area beyond the rock formations. Even so the poolside is also very relaxing with good service. This is a place for relaxing, eating out or even catching up on some work. There are plenty of facilities for changing and getting ready for your evening with their live music events for example. After a day here we felt very relaxed and glad we visited. Took us 30 minutes from Kyrenia with slow driving. Prices are slightly higher than average in the Raica restaurant and bar We paid 750TL entrance for poolside , the beach area is 500TL. What’s your favourite Kyrenia restaurant? This is Ezic restaurant in Lapta. Although a commercial franchise it is a place where locals and tourists visit. You know what to expect and with good standards of food and venue. Prices are slightly higher this year but still a good addition to visit when in Kyrenia. Have you encountered turtles? An Amazing spectacle came about at the @arkinpalmbeach hotel in #Famagusta . Whilst the Beach guests were enjoying the crystal clear waters and sandy beach of Arkin Palm beach hotel, loggerhead turtles began to suddenly hatch their eggs and travel to the sea. The surprised visitors went over to see the amazing cute miracles of life. The turtles are loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) which are endangered species. Rest assured the people looking and handling the turtles were setting them aside to safety. Marine life conservationists were called in to take them to the safety of a more controlled environment to maximise their chances of survival.
