We are available to groups of young people, corporate clients, and also offer the full range of National Governing Body awards as well as a range of specialist skills courses. In addition we have The Wright Lodge which is a day visit facility for schools, youth groups & corporate clients who would like to participate in our range of outdoor activities, but on a non residential basis. Unfortunately

we cannot cater for individuals, unless on one of our specialist courses. The Estate has a history as a 'Park' belonging to Furness Abbey. The current estate comprises 65 acres, mainly woodland, and includes the former mansion house, ancillary building, a mile of lakeshore, a marina and a boathouse. Waterpark is ideally situated at the southern end of Coniston Water and has easy access to the M6 via the Kendal turning.

TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR VACANCY -Water Park Adventure Centre on Coniston Water have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month Traineeship. You will work alongside experienced Tutors delivering outdoor education to a range of clients from our 37-bed residential centre in the beautiful Lake District National Park. Alongside working with the clients there will be regular skill acquisition days for you to progress personally at the activities. Trainees form an important part of the staff team here and operate under similar conditions to the full-time team. During your time with us there will be opportunities to gain relevant NGB awards which will be paid for by Water Park. The position involves a combination of paid hours and voluntary hours; this will be discussed at interview. Onsite accommodation can be provided at a cost of £1785 per year. Please note you will need to be 18 years of age on or before the 2nd of May 2022. Salary £9921.60 Closing date for applications is 25th March 2022. Interviews will be soon after.
