As a Member, you become one of the connections, sharing the famous black and white colours. Elite Racing Club has developed and fine-tuned an alternative.

Most people are prevented from buying their own racehorse because it is far too expensive. The concept is simple, Members pay an affordable 12 months subscription fee and in return share the fun and excitement of following the progress of a string of racehorses, via a weekly newsletter. In addition, Members share an equal division of the race prize money won by the horses and a host of other benef

its. Being part of Britain’s all-time most successful racing club is a thrill in itself. Watching one of the horses run in a race is truly special and when the horse is first past the winning post, the experience is complete.

Tiffany finished a gallant third to the impressive Kalpana in the Group 1 Fillies and Mares race on Champions Day at Ascot. She was always well positioned by Luke Morris, but couldn’t pick up quite as well as the first two home in the soft ground. She has improved her incredible Club pedigree further and proven she belongs at the highest level. She looked super thanks to Kiera and Harriet once again.

Tiffany declared for British Champions Day at Ascot.

Elite Racing Club's Tiffany hopes to build on her classy, improving form when she lines up in the Group 1 Fillies & Mares Stakes at Ascot this Saturday, 19 October.

A Listed and Group 3 winner earlier this season, the Sir Mark Prescott-trained Tiffany surpassed that form when she won Group 2 fillies' race at Baden-Baden on 31 August, on only her second start over 1m4f. Saturday's race will be her first foray into Group 1 company.

Appropriately, the four-year-old homebred filly is by the Champion Stakes winner Farhh and she's out of a winning Sadler's Wells half-sister to the Club's five-time winner, Soviet Song. Elite Racing Club's other Group 1 winners from the same family include Marsha (Prix de l'Abbaye and Nunthorpe Stakes) and Ribbons (Prix Jean Romanet).

We wish all Elite Racing Club members as well as Sir Mark Prescott and the team at Heath House Stables the best of luck this Saturday.

*MEET THE TRAINER*

HARRY CHARLTON

Having shared the training licence with his father Roger for the previous two seasons, Harry took over the licence in January 2024 to train from the historic Beckhampton Stables in Wiltshire. In Roger's first season, he won the Derby and Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) with Quest For Fame and Sanglamore, respectively. Roger also notably handled the Group 1 winners Avonbridge, Patavellian, Tamarisk, Al Kazeem and Quadrilateral. Roger also trained Elite Racing Club's Group 3 winner, Border Patrol, and the speedy Listed-winning juvenile Marlinka. Harry and Roger had great success on the Flat in 2022 and 2023, training 89 domestic Flat winners.

In the past week, two homebred two-year-olds have made pleasing debuts. Last Thursday, Tremolo finished fourth at Salisbury (led up by Benny) and on Monday Kordylia finished down the field at Wolverhampton (led up by Corbin) but showed plenty of promise. They are both exciting projects and we hope can win to enhance their impressive pedigrees.

What a team Overture and jockey Luke Morris have made lately!

The Sir Mark Prescott-trained Overture recorded a fourth straight win when successful at Yarmouth on Wednesday 18 September, defying a rising handicap mark.

Well done to the teams at Heath House and Pegasus Stables and all Club members. 🤩🏆🤩

To this day Soviet Song is the best racehorse ERC has ever seen and she is the great aunt to OVERTURE!

This moment was captured the day she won the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket on 5 July 2005.
