Tyn Y Simdde Remote Snowdonia Mountain Holiday Cottage

We have been extremely busy, setting up the new holiday home in town and moving everything from Suffolk to Wales. We are almost there!! Our new truck has been having some important jobs done, such as adding the bike lift on the back, which has been a huge success. A local Suffolk man designed and built the bike lift and we couldn’t be happier. One step closer to adventuring.

Despite all the hard work, we have managed to take a few trips between jobs and enjoyed some beautiful places close to both and
We found out that was exhibiting some prints at art gallery, and finally managed to get a beautiful and quirky print. This will be a new addition to the cottage, and we think it is the perfect style and character for the cottage.

After our visit to the gallery, we walked down to the local beach, which is another fabulous place to enjoy the coast in North Wales. Who needs the Caribbean when you have local places like this!

We also managed another trip to our favourite beach
The views are truly stunning and it is always so peaceful.

These days out only serve to increase the excitement for our upcoming travels and truck life. Most of the packing for the move into the truck has been done and we plan to be setting off very soon.

This coming week will be another busy one, cleaning between visitors to the town house and packing. We have had lots of visitors to the town house and the cottage and some fabulous reviews. It is really lovely to know that our hard work and efforts have made all the difference for others and their hard worked for holidays.

Truck updates and travel plans are next, as we are hopefully going to be touring The Scottish Highlands and Norway very soon.

Never mind the cottage…. The local countryside is simply magical. And no….it’s not a Caribbean beach, it is the idyllic beach. This is what Snowdonia has to offer and all this is less than an hour from the cottage. Heavenly ❤️🌲🍂🍁🌳

Embracing bedtime Tyn Y Simdde style 🌙
The luxurious velvet reversible Alva bedspread brings another level to bedtime and keeps us warm on cold nights. We love the muted colour way and quilted velvet. The only downside is choosing which bedroom to sleep in.
We also love the delicate blue flowers on the rug.
The lovely old rocker chair and dressing table chair was found at and also the gorgeous dresser, which really accentuates the cottage charm.
The dressing table was a lucky find and was kindly sold to us, despite not being for sale, by the lovely and talented Jane at
The pretty basket of dried flowers was another super find from Bala florist 🌷💐🌷
