Tomorrow I am being hosted by AE Expeditions Agents UK & Europe on board The Greg Mortimer expedition cruise ship.

We attempt to reach fabled places dreamed and written about by explorers on this trailblazing “Exploratory Voyage,” where the “itinerary” is driven by nature and AE Expedition’s genuine spirit of exploration.

🇬🇱 On Zodiac excursions, glide through dazzling, sculptural icebergs in Scoresbysund, the world’s largest fjord system.

🐋 Keep a close watch for the unmistakable blow of whales as they surface to breathe, and perhaps the mesmerising sight of a tail fluke as it takes a deep dive.

🏔 Marvel at the ancient geology of East Greenland, where mountains are painted in stripes by nature’s brush and fjords are surrounded by walls of various shades of pinks, oranges and purple.

Great few days in Switzerland with stays in Geneva and Davos and off to Zurich later today.

Side trips to Filisur, Burgen, Tiefencastle and Klosters were brilliant with some great train journeys and amazing scenery throughout!
