We cater for all events including, funerals, weddings, carriage rides, driving lessons.. N&J Heavy Horses have over 15 years experience in working with heavy horses and horse drawn carriages. From Weddings to film and television industry, we are the quality choice.

Our Story

N&J Heavy Horses have over 15 years experience in working with heavy horses and horse drawn carriages. We offer services, including Weddings; where we offer a driver, two grooms and a pair of Percheron’s or Shire’s chosen by you. We also have a choice of stunning carriages to make your day as special as possible and tailor them to your colour scheme.

Alongside Weddings, we offer our professional services for Funerals; we offer a choice of hearse carriages with a driver and two grooms. This is pulled by your choice of horses from either Shire’s or Percheron’s. Photos can be chosen from our Funeral and Wedding Album in the Photo Gallery, or further images on request.

We have been fortunate enough to have opportunities within the Film and Television Industry, where you might have seen our magnificent boys, one of which includes, Ruskin, a Bollywood Film.

We also offer Driving Lessons and Hack Out’s on our wonderful boys- a truly magical experience. The hack out’s are through the beautiful new forest and a horse is tailored to your riding ability- whether you want to walk, trot or feel the boys real speed.
