Thursday & Friday , I had another 2 great Days , guiding & traveling by bus & Rail.
The weather wasn’t perfect but we were blessed with no mist at Snaefell summit, no rain on either day , & the sun shone upon us from time to time , 43 happy customers from all over Germany.

Yesterday was another busy day
With the arrival of Holland America Line's Nieuw Statendam in Douglas .

Both vehicles were pre booked with myself & my colleague as driver/guides .
Although the mist didn’t lift completely we had a great time sowing visitors from the USA & Canada around our beautiful Island.
Cruise Ship bookings are rolling in for next year already for groups of up to 13 & groups of 4 .

44 German guests yesterday & the day before , today 2 guests from Florida on a full day private Tour . , What a brilliant day I had with Deborah & her Daughter Maris , they were a pleasure to be with & show around our beautiful Island on such a beautiful day , they loved everything I showed them , especially the Niarbyl Fault .

What a great 2 days I’ve had , showing 44 lovely German visitors our island by bus & rail.
I’ve had some fantastic feed back & most importantly the weather played ball at the right times.
Safe onward journey & I look forward to meeting the next group next week.

It’s been a long 2 weeks , thank you to all that have supported me & my business this TT , for those that wanted to book a Tour with me that I wasn’t able to cover , I apologise , the new schedule for the last 2 years doesn’t help us but even less with the weather we’ve had with all the postponements .

It’s been Mad busy last few weeks with , a variety of tours last week , & bookings for TT & island Tours this week.

I tend to neglect social media , & not everybody wants to be photographed & posted on facebook , but Michaela & Liz certainly wern’t Camera shy especially Liz .
What a great day I had out last Thursday with these 2 lovely ladies all the way from Norway & Panama , it was a pleasure guiding you around our fantastic Island.

I’ve had Minibus Tour groups , on Wednesday & today , what a wonderful time I had with both groups .Today I was just telling my group of 13 about the cloak of Manannan when it descended upon us . Great to give visiting guests a lovely experience of the island , & get such positive feed back .

After last nights extremely good meal at Enzo’s it’s back to mikes best bites tonight 🤣 Turkey in a port & cranberry gravy , carrots , cabbage , sweet potato , roast potatoes , home made Yorkshire puds , & English white asparagus ( left from Friday ) only the last few years there has been British white asparagus , I can eat a kilo of them with just new potatoes & a good holandaise sauce . Not as good as last night but not bad if I say so myself 🍺

Last week was a busy week with 2 different German groups of 44 for 2 days each.
Monday & Tuesday we’re trying with really bad weather Monday & the Snaefell railway cancelled because of high winds on Tuesday , but everyone took it in their stride , & I found a plan B .
Thursday & Friday nice weather blessed us again . A great but tiring week , the weekend has been relaxing & now I’m raring to go again .
No more German groups booked until TT , so back to the mother tongue this week .

What a wonderful 2 days .
I’ve been busy in March and April with private Tours, but this week saw my first large group for the season, 43 German visitors from all corners of Germany, bus & rail around the Island & what wonderful weather we were blessed with, & what a lovely group of people.
