Well, it's the end of an era. All good things come to an end, so all the best to Roddy as he starts the next phase of his life!
Things are not going to be the same around here - but don't worry, we've not seen the last of him, he'll be popping in now and again for holiday cover.

Hutter UNITE! We absolutely cannot wait to start our 5th Hut this Summer - for the top secret location in Scotland. Did you know these particular Blackstones are actual holiday homes for those lucky enough to have a plot on the beautiful coast line of Scotland. There are special planning rights introduced a few years ago to simplify the process for hutters to be able to create living spaces and we can help every step of the way. This one is a beautiful Siberian Larch 2 storey 2 bedroom hut run on battery / solar / gas and woodburner. This entire project is just shy of £60,000.00 all in.

What's the purpose of ?
It seems to be allowing energy companies like Marble Power to put small businesses out of business!

No power used, standing charges of £800.
This is profiteering, pure and simple. 😡🤬

Increased costs hit timber and timber products at every stage of its production.
In fact, without the so-called "price caps", businesses are being even harder hit than consumers in terms of energy prices - which then affects the consumer, of course! 🙄
