Day 5 of my family-friendly city breaks and today we're exploring the enchanting city of York! 🏰✨

One of the highlights is The Shambles, a charming street that dates back to the Middle Ages. It’s like stepping into the 14th century, surrounded by beautiful timbered buildings. Don’t miss The Shop That Must Not Be Named, where Harry Potter fans can find wands and magical goodies! 🧙‍♂️✨

For those who love a good scare, the York Ghost Walk offers a thrilling experience through the city’s ancient streets, perfect for a spooky adventure! 👻

Viking enthusiasts will be thrilled at the Jorvik Viking Centre, where you can dive into York’s Viking history from the ninth and tenth centuries. It's a fascinating journey back in time! ⚔️🛡️

While York Minster may not be the most kid-friendly spot, its stunning architecture is worth a visit. To keep the kiddos happy after that cultural detour, treat them to some sweet delights at York’s Chocolate Story Museum or the York Cocoa Works store. 🍫❤️
