Delicious farm cooked Opal plum jam for our cottage and cabin breakfast hampers. Plus a spicy plum and onion chutney to go with our field to fork curries and and naan bread meals. We love this time of year and all the wonderful produce.

PART TIME 1 - 3 days (or half days) per week. Hours entirely flexible.
PAY - dependent on experience

To help with the development and upkeep of a small semi-commercial organic vegetable garden and apple orchards. Tasks will include:
- sowing
- weeding and general maintenance
- assisting with apple harvest
- develop new mixed planting flower areas
- assist with developing cut flower seasonal supply and create displays for letting cottages

Horticultural and gardening experience preferable but not essential. An interest in vegetable and flower growing, a good attitude, desire to work and punctuality are more important.

Part time - 1 - 3 days per week, across Thurs/Fri/Sat and hours negotiable
Pay - dependent on experience

Working outdoors on a small Duns farm, mostly alongside and assisting the owner, the tasks will include:
- shed building
- fencing repairs
- assisting with joinery fit out work
- general grounds maintenance (grass cutting/strimming/weeding)
- light tractor work
- minor civils labouring

Joinery or grounds maintenance experience helpful but not essential. A good attitude, desire to work and punctuality more important.
