We are delighted to partner with Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity as our Corporate Charity Partner.

In the words of the team at ECHC, our donation this year will: ‘transform the lives of seriously ill children in hospital’.

ECHC offer a Children's Wellbeing Programme, which supports children and families through a combination of youth work, creative activities and family support. They have a hospital based team who deliver this service every day across the wards. It means that on any given day a mother and baby in intensive care might enjoy a baby sensory workshop, or a family whose child hasn’t been home for 6 months gets to enjoy a film screening on a Saturday afternoon together, or a young person presenting to the Emergency Department with mental health issues is listened to and offered further support.

They recently launched their Space Academy for children in clinical isolation which uses an interactive STEM approach to relate their journey in hospital to that of an astronaut travelling to Mars!

In December they have been busy preparing and delivering living advent calendar so that on every day this month children can open a real life door of the hospital to reveal a magical activity.

Our support will help all of these activities which aim to help children feel they are children first and patients second.

ECHC also runs a Grants Programme and through this offer NHS projects funding which their budgets don’t cover. These projects range from bereavement support, the hospital play programme, state of the art medical equipment, emergency financial support for families, and so much more!

Our team recently had the pleasure of visiting Talisker Distillery, the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye.

Set on the shores of Loch Harport, this newly renovated visitor attraction has been completely transformed as part of Diageo’s £185 million investment in Scotch tourism.

We highly recommend you immerse yourself in their ‘Made by the Sea Tasting Experience’: Whisky lovers get the chance to enjoy in a multi-sensory tasting session that explores the story of Talisker followed by a tasting.
