It’s been a tough week for our friends . We’ve been lucky to share a shop with the Crow Crew for three seasons and benefited massively from their knowledge, passion and kindness. That’s why it is so sad to see them shut their doors this past week. We part ways with a lot of thanks and optimism that their entire team will make a soft landing and find meaningful work in no time.

Many of you visited the Bikerbnb Adventures workshop over the past three years. While we’re no longer based at Saltire, we are still running tours, rentals and will be looking to continue Saltire’s vision of building an amazing space for bikers.

Finally some nice weather ☀️

Snap taken from the Skye Traverse tour that ran twice this month with riders from across the globe joining the 1000 mile tour around the Scottish Highlands. Lead rider Tim taking in the views of Glencoe. They don’t ever get old.

The 650 custom Scramblers are still going strong 💪🏻 after leading groups over 15,000 miles around the Highlands & Islands, Catalunya and the dusty trails of the Andorran Pyrenees. The pair have been truly remarkable, dealing with all sorts of terrains and scenarios over the last two seasons.

Speaking of tours… we have just one tour left in Scotland this season. 5-10 September we’ll running our North Coast Traverse tour, we have just 2 spaces available. Make sure you don’t miss out!

How’s your summer going so far? Unfortunately here in Scotland it’s been pretty wet… we’ll keep praying for a dryer second half of July, a decent August and September 🤞🏻. For those not convinced and looking overseas for better weather, then it might be time to start looking! Dusting off after an epic recce trip to Morocco 🇲🇦
The team and friends landed in Marrakesh last week, hired 8 Himalayans and took to the road for four days. What an incredible country, delicious foods, great roads, beautiful vistas around every corner and the most friendliest people. We really cannot wait to return. We’ve made a few tweaks to our route to make sure our guests are getting the best adventure we can offer over 7 days. We have just a couple spaces going, so if you want to join, make a quick stop to our website for more info and bookings.

The Dune Traverse tour will start and finish from Marrakesh and will take you to the Dunes of the Sahara desert and back, exploring the vast range of Altas mountains over a 7 day trek. Can’t make this trip? No worries, we plan to have a second date up very soon, stayed tuned.

At the end of the 2022 season, we were joined by the Swedish distributor of Balvenie Whisky and a custom bike builder named Ida Olson ( ) . She was seeking inspiration for a custom Continental GT build, so we took her north and shot some film through the Cairngorms National Park and Speyside. We spent the evening at the Balvenie Distillery and learned more about the whisky-making process and how she could use some of those materials to build a unique custom.

Since this trip, Ida has completed her beautiful Balvene-inspired GT, which joined us last year for our annual Balvenie tour. You can learn about her build and see the bike on her channel. On the last trip, we met with a Royal Enfield Sweden and are now in discussion around a Scandi Scramble. More details to come.

“I don’t get to ride off-road a lot living in Scotland. The road riding is great if you’re willing to get wet, so after a season in Scotland, I’m really looking for a change of scenery. Our first Trails Traverse was one of the best trips I’ve ever done on two wheels. We rode nearly 1,000km from Barcelona to the furthest corner of Catalunya. It was our final ride of the season and it had a last hurrah vibe to it. The weather was perfect, the conditions were great for our custom Enfields and the group just got along so well and worked together when we had mechanicals. The best part of this trip was leading folks outside of their comfort zone and showing them the tracks the Dakar rally racers train on…particularly one incredibly steep cliff descent “ - Steve, bikerbnb, Director
