Managed to get a little look into the stunning private tasting room at the Singleton of Glen Ord distillery. My clients spoke very highly of their young tour guide. Very knowledgeable for her young years. I will be bringing more lucky clients here for sure.

Loved my recent tour to the stunning Outer Hebrides so much, I thought I’d share a few shots of beautiful Garry Beach and one of the locals. No whisky distilleries to be found here on Lewis, but Isle of Harris distillery in Tarbert on the Isle of Harris is well worth a visit if only for amazing drive down from Stornoway alone where the views are nothing short of spectacular.

The F Pace meets the stunning Isle of Lewis. We took the Jaguar on the long drive to Ullapool and across The Minch to Stornoway. What a beautiful drive and in such comfort, the journey just flew by. Visiting the Isle of Scalpay and Eileen Glas lighthouse. The first keeper here arrived in 1789 and lasted 35 years, tending the light every 4 hours for his full stay, listening to the foghorn blast 7 times every minute and a half every night. . What a fantastic location, but I’m so glad I’m a whisky host. #

I don’t have a house on the Isle of Lewis, but I do have a garden shed. We are having a week off and spending it on possibly the best staycation location going. The stunning Outer Hebrides. Look out for more views coming soon.

It’s time ! A huge welcome back to our American and European friends. From Monday, it is now possible to come to Scotland without the need to isolate on arrival and we can’t wait to share our famous Scottish hospitality. . As your trip my have been planned at short notice and you may be tight for time, here at Whisky Prestige I have created some half day whisky tours for you to experience. Whisky Prestige took a tour this week with 3 gentlemen, a birthday treat for one, who was able to share the experience with his son and close friend. We’ll talk about the weather later, but let’s focus in on the positives for now. Firstly we went to .. The intrepid trio had a visit to the newly refurbished shop as they waited on their tour to begin. They then headed off for their tour. Very intimate with only one other guest accompanying them. I don’t like to name drop but while they were in the tour I enjoyed a coffee with the distillery manager . Thank you John. After the group enjoyed a sample or two they went back to the shop, one of them even purchased a bottle to take home. Next stop was Aberdour. Unfortunately it’s not reopening this year for visitors so it was just a quick photo opportunity of this picturesque spot. After a very quick lunch break it was our final stop of the day . Another tour exploring the world of whisky production and of course some sampling, and thanks to the staff there for accommodating an additional guest. All in all, the group had a very nice day even sampling some journey whilst on the road. Now about the weather. It did not stop for one minute the full day, but I suppose one way to look at it is that they are simply taking delivery of the Glenturret 12 year old 2033 release. I hope the client gets the same gift for his next birthday. Check out my website for this and other whisky experiences.
