An incredible journey to Staffa and Fingal’s Cave with some of the Scottish Guided Tours team. Andrew, Alan and myself spent an amazing afternoon with Staffa Tours exploring Fingal’s Cave & Staffa.
Staffa Tours looked after us so well, using their skill & knowledge to land safely. We even had a visit from a pod of Dolphins on our return. Thank you, and what a day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

A big, gorgeous Coo on Mull, and a beautiful wee lamb on Iona ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Today also involves a visit to the ‘Well of Eternal Youth’ but that’s a story for another day!

Saint Serf, once battled a dragon close by, in the village of Dunning, Scotland.
Inside the local church that bares his name, is the Dupplin Cross. A beautifully carved Pictish cross, from around 800AD.
The monument I pass often, is to a local woman, Maggie Wall. Maggie was burnt alive at this very spot in 1657 for witchcraft.
Versions of this event vary, to the point where Maggie’s very existence is questioned.
The monument is a tribute and poignant reminder of the terrible fate inflicted upon thousands of women accused of witchcraft.
The Raven sitting on top, watched me very closely!
