Pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
The remaining 50% is due 48hrs before the day of your tour (cash or online payment).
Pay in Full
Pay the total amount upfront via bank transfer or PayPal.
We also accept cash on the day for any remaining balance.

At The True Scot, we prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all our guests. However, participation in our walking food tours is entirely at your own risk. By booking a tour, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You are responsible for your own health, safety, and personal belongings during the tour.
Our tours involve walking, standing, and consuming food and beverages, including alcohol (where applicable). It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically able to participate.
If you have any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions, it is your responsibility to inform us in advance and exercise caution when consuming food and drink. We cannot guarantee that any food or beverage provided will be free from allergens or meet specific dietary needs.
The True Scot and its Guides are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred during the tour, including
accidents or incidents that arise from personal health conditions, environmental factors, or third-party establishments we visit.
Guests must comply with all local laws and regulations, including responsible alcohol consumption. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any individual who poses a risk to themselves or others.

Cancellation & Refund Policy –
At The True Scot, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy ensures fairness for both our guests and our small business.
1. Cancellations by Guests
7+ days before the tour – Full refund.
3–6 days before the tour – 50% refund.
Less than 48 hours before the tour – No refund.
No-shows – No refund.
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.
2. Rescheduling
We will do our best to reschedule your tour if notified at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Reschedules within 24 hours of the tour are not guaranteed.
3. Cancellations by The True Scot
If we cancel due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on another date.
If a tour cannot run due to low numbers, we will notify you in advance and offer a refund or alternative date.
4. Weather Policy
Our tours run rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the Scottish weather.
In the case of severe weather warnings, we will contact you regarding cancellations and refunds.
5. Late Arrivals
Tours start promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may miss part of the tour or be unable to join once the tour has begun. No refunds will be issued for missed tours due to lateness.
6. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation.
If booked via a third-party platform (e.g., Viator, Airbnb Experiences, GetYourGuide), their refund policies apply.
