We’re thrilled to welcome back the dynamic Jarret Ross for a series of Facebook Live shows during Tucson 2025!

Jarret will have exclusive access to our showroom at the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore our extensive collection of fine minerals from the comfort of your home.

Both shows begin at 6 pm (MST) with the first show airing on Friday, February 7, followed by a second on Friday, February 14.

Get ready – Tucson 2025 is coming! Crystal Classics, alongside our sister companies UK Mining Ventures (UKMV) and Wulfenita, are all set for another fabulous few weeks at the world’s biggest mineral and gem show, taking place from January 31 to February 15.

For Crystal Classics, the 2025 show promises to be one of our most exciting yet. We will be showcasing the Kirby and Eddie Siber Private Gold Collection at the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery (TFMG) during the Tucson Gem & Fine Mineral Show. Displayed in a dedicated space within our stunning showroom – aptly named “Mini Fort Knox” – this exceptional exhibit will feature over 200 gold specimens from countries including Alaska, Austria, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Canada, Romania, and numerous US localities. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see some of the finest gold specimens ever to come to market.

Our sister companies, UKMV and Wulfenita, will also be present at the show. UKMV will return to Sun Gem, brimming with fantastic new wholesale stock and collector specimens. Additionally, they’ll be at the TFMG, showcasing some of their finest new Fluorite discoveries from their mines in Weardale, Co. Durham. Meanwhile, Wulfenita will be at Mineral City, offering an incredible array of new specimen finds from Mexico.

Our team for Tucson includes Ian and Diana Bruce, Debbie Boyer, Stewart Neibert, Tom Cottrell, Georgina Long, Joe Bruce, Sam Bruce, and many dedicated volunteers, all ready to make your experience unforgettable.

Crystal Classics is proud to present the world-renowned Kirby and Eddie Siber private Gold Collection.

This extraordinary collection of gold specimens, assembled by Dr. Hans-Jakob “Kirby” Siber and his brother, Eddie, will exclusively debut at the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery (TFMG) for the 2025 Tucson Gem & Fine Mineral Show.

Kirby Siber has had a lifelong passion for minerals and fossils. Together with his father, Hanz (1905–1979), he founded the business Siber+Siber Mineralien und Fossilien AG in 1964 by opening a shop in Aathal, Switzerland. With Eddie’s help, beginning in 1967, the business soon gained international acclaim.

After decades in the mineral trade, Kirby’s fascination shifted toward dinosaurs and other large vertebrate fossils. In 1992, he opened a museum dedicated to his discoveries, located just across the road from their mineral and gem business.

Alongside their passion for fossils, Kirby and Eddie also dedicated themselves to assembling one of the finest collections of gold specimens ever brought to market.

The result was a meticulously curated gold collection of 220 specimens, which was on display for nearly 50 years at the Siber+Siber store in Aathal, Switzerland until its sale. The displays, thoughtfully arranged with locality-specific memorabilia and historical artifacts, featured specimens from many countries including numerous U.S. localities.

Crystal Classics owner Ian Bruce befriended Kirby more than two decades ago and had previously purchased part of his worldwide mineral collection. Towards the end of 2024, after months of negotiation, Ian successfully acquired Kirby and Eddie’s private Gold Collection.

Since then, Ian, Diana, and the Crystal Classics team have packed and transported the collection to their showroom at the TFMG. They are now preparing the collection for display in the specially designed showroom named ‘Mini Fort Knox’, just in time for the 2025 Tucson Gem & Fine Mineral Show, which runs from Friday, January 31 to Saturday, February 15.

The TFMG is located at 465 W St. Mary’s Road, Tucson, AZ 85701, and is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm during the show.

Earlier this year Crystal Classics was able to acquire one of the most celebrated and visited gold collections in the world. This was the Kirby and Eddie Siber Private Gold Collection on exhibit in Zurich, Switzerland.

Kirby, and brother Eddie, had spent a lifetime building and expanding this gold collection to consist of 18 different display cabinets showing gold specimens, of all varieties, from all around the world. Nugget gold, wire gold, crystalized gold and MORE!!

Right after the 2024 Munich Show, BlueCap Productions joined Ian and Diana Bruce from Crystal Classics on a trip to Zurich to pack up the collection and what a treat that was!!!! Then, in November, during the November Open Week at the TFMG, we were able to document the pieces after they had just arrived in the USA.

Now, Crystal Classics is hard at work transforming their, "secret gem vault" into a Tucson version of Fort Knox in time for the 2025 show.

Wow, what an incredible year it has been for Crystal Classics!

In 2024, our team spent a remarkable 489 days traveling – by road, air, and sea – attending shows and scouring the globe to bring you the very finest mineral specimens.

As a result of these efforts, we processed a record-breaking number of collections through our facilities this year!

We want to extend our sincere thanks to our loyal customers and colleagues in the mineral community for your unwavering support throughout 2024. We feel truly fortunate to be part of this amazing community.

Ian, Diana, Debbie, and the entire Crystal Classics team would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended and participated in our Winter Open Day last Saturday.

Despite the challenging weather brought by Storm Darragh, we were delighted with the fantastic turnout at our showroom in East Coker, Somerset. The response to our latest collection acquisitions was phenomenal, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who made a purchase.

Later in the day, we hosted our latest Instagram Live Show, and once again, we were amazed by the incredible response. The Midnight Oil pocket release from UK Mining Ventures was particularly popular, and we sincerely thank everyone who added a specimen to their collection.

Next up for us is the big one – Tucson 2025! Stay tuned for more details and updates about our participation coming soon.

Our cabinets are fully stocked with stunning specimens, ready for tomorrow’s Instagram Live Show!

The main focus of the display is British Fluorite, featuring some classic Weardale localities and exceptional pieces from our sister company, UK Mining Ventures – including the newly discovered Midnight Oil Pocket. You’ll also find exquisite Fluorite jewellery from Viridis Gems.

The Live Show coincides with our Winter Open Day, so we’ll also showcase a selection of British specimens that are our display for the show.

Highlights include a striking specimen of Liroconite and an exquisite Clinoclase with Liroconite, both from Wheal Gorland, a superb Cassiterite from Wheal Kitty, and an extraordinary Bornite pseudomorph after Chalcocite from the historic Botallack Mine.
