What will happen on my first night...

It can be nerve-racking joining a new group or club, particularly if you are on your own, it's a new sport or you are returning to the sport after a long break. But we can confidently say that you will enjoy yourself.

The most important thing about C25K is that it's designed to be fun and friendly, so everyone is supported to exercise at their own level, including complete beginners.

Before your first session starts your C25K leader will chat with you and find out what your current fitness level is and whether you have any particular goals or fears.

Your session will start with a gentle warm-up to get the body ready to exercise followed by a running session tailored to your level. C25K leaders make sure nobody gets left behind, whatever your speed or fitness level, you're an important part of the group.

You'll finish with a cool-down, where you can stretch your muscles and bring your heart rate back to normal and perhaps enjoy a chat about the session.

Each week we will encourage you to run a little further or faster, and before you know it you'll see big improvements in your fitness and achievements.

All you need to bring to the C25K is some water, wear comfortable running clothes and shoes.

Charity Cruise Weekend 🛳 😎🍻🎶☀️🎸
22nd and 23rd April 2022

We would like to say a massive thank you to all who were involved in our final fundraiser for RNLI before Belfast Marathon on Sunday. The weekend was a massive success, even the sun came out for the occasion!

Attendees spent the evening gliding along the relaxing waters of Lough Erne on board Island Discovery luxury cruising vessel 👌. A massive thank you to Erne Water Taxi for their help and generosity in hosting this project 🙏

Live music was provided by the delightful and talented Maria Cameron Music and Conor Philips 🪕🎶 Thank you both for your time and talents, and adding so much musical enjoyment to the evening 💕

All that cruising is thirsty work! Thank you to Inishmacsaint for keeping those on board happily hydrated with a superb selection of drinks 🍻 😉 And hunger was kept at bay by Between the Bridges
with their generous donation of gourmet nibbles and snacks 😋 🧀

Nathan Carter and Derek Ryan Music both donated concert tickets for the on board raffle, thank you to both for these amazing prizes 🙏 🎟

A massive thank you to all who purchased tickets and came along on the Friday and Saturday night 🥰 Thanks for you delightful company on board, both nights had such a lovely crowd of passengers, we hope you enjoyed your evening ❤ An overwhelming total of £860 was raised, and will be added to our overall donation for RNLI next week.

Last, but not least, thanks to Ian Birney
for his tireless efforts in arranging everything and pulling it all together. Ian put endless amounts of energy into it like only he can! Thanks Ian for literally keeping the weekend afloat! 👏
