More Vietnam memories… Mekong delta. We made our way here from Ho Chi Minh and enjoyed an overnight stay at the Mekong Lodge. Another amazing Vietnam experience, even the rain could not dampen our time here. Massages, more incredible Vietnamese cuisine and hospitality. Glimpses of local life and work and a charming scenic boat ride around the Mekong delta.

Intrepid … wow! what a day! Came way out of my comfort zone with the cycling but I knew I would regret it if I didn’t do it. An amazing morning visiting two islands/villages in the countryside of Hoi An and interacting with the locals. Intrepid really do take you to places so off the beaten track to have very special experiences like this one. We all loved it.

Such a charming evening at the Langham Summer cocktail party. Lovely to run into my old friend Jen and Keith from Cathay Pacific, enjoy canapés, cocktails and desserts with Dani and co while all while learning about Langham hotels in Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, New York, Boston, Chicago, and of course London. Even a little prize win for me tonight (thank you The Langham London).
Our last reel, more Elephant hills and a day at the lake and floating camp. Boat trip, kayaking and swimming in the lake and an inspection of the floating lake rooms (an optional 2nd night option at Elephant Hills). I would recommend ideally to go outside of rainy season as they do get heaps of rain in the rainforest but, we still had a great time and an amazing experience despite the relentless rain.
Hong Island. A wonderful inclusion to our itinerary at Phulay Bay. Just a 15 minute long boat from the hotel and 3 hours to relax and enjoy the island. Amazing view of the beach from the top of the cliff climb. Stunning beach. One of our faves. Thank you @phulaybayreserve one we won’t forget. 🙏🏻
Phulay Bay (A Ritz Carlton reserve) … we have no words. We loved our time with you and did not want to leave. From our stunning villa (with literally THE biggest bed ever), to the queen of infinity pools, the swim up bar with the best pizza, cocktail class, cocktail party, a celebration for Ru, hotel excursion to Hong Island (that will have its own post as it was so awesome), and last but not least our butler Habibi who looked after us so well.
… we loved it all. A truly charming resort where you can just kick back and be thoroughly spoilt.
